I'm 95% sure it's a reference to Trump's pre-presidency viral observation on twitter that you rarely see skinny people drinking Diet Coke. Ironically it's predominately fat people who drink diet sodas.

That and it's Trump's beverage of choice. He doesn't drink alcohol so he can't really be mocked for that. But he loves McDonalds cheeseburgers and drinks lots of Diet Coke. Apparently he's done toasts with Diet Coke instead of wine also.

While those habits don't seem too out of the ordinary, people act like that's not presidential behavior or something. It's offensive because Trump likes it. Like how Kavanaugh said he likes beer and suddenly liking beer makes you a rapist.

Don't forget you're dealing with a group that is all about anti-discrimination and acceptance of every colour and gender but will discriminate you because of you colour and gender (die white-cis-scum ammarite?). They tell you to not judge a book by its cover while doing exactly that. They applaud racism and discrimination when it suits them.
They're hypocrites of the highest order, but most have their heads so far up their own asses they can't fathom the thought of them being racists, so everyone else must be, by definition.

What hurts my brain the most when I see "leftist" comments is their pure stupidity most of the time. It is incredible how a big part of those people (that you find on the right too, duh), even though they went to college, have no idea about how anyting works in this world, be it politics, economics, science or history, it looks like they never went outside either, but they still find ways to moralfag from their imaginary high ground of "I'm virtuous, you're Nazi scum".

It ain't even the font size. It's the font. Besides it just being a meme to do so, there's a reason impact font is so common for ALL CAPITALS, and it's because it's a sans serif font with easily readable lettering and spacing. Even if you didn't know the difference between a serif or sans serif font, anybody can identify when a font is almost impossible to read and would swap to another.

I also don't understand the point of this image. Is this supposed to be responding to some sort of common idea, or is the author just yelling at clouds?

Jesus christ idiots. Owning a plantation was like owning a factory. As in, most people don't.

I do agree "The good old days" are stupid, people are remembering back to a time with more crime and a shittier quality of life with rose tinted glasses.
