The "it's blocking innocent trans-people" always bothers me. Innocent of what, Jake? Bad behavior? Being creeps, obnoxious or being incredibly hateful/spiteful towards anyone that doesn't dance to their tune? His whole argument seems to be that any of their(and his own) actions or behavior were completely justified and therefore, just like Hitler, they. did. nothing. wrong!

He's just innocent by default. His internal logic and rationalization seems to be stunted by his isolation so it's the sort of childish and egocentric thinking that can be summed up as "I did do that but I understand WHY I did it, so it can't be bad because I'm a good person" - that's probably why he's so convinced that if he just got a chance to explain himself to the people that cut him loose there would be no doubt that they would admit to the error in their judgement, his explanation would also be so self-explanatory that they might even give him that apology that he actually believes he deserves. What he would explain is anybodies guess, maybe he would be more candid in private, but the core of his argument would always be "I did nothing wrong".
