CNN's latest poll shows Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Beto O'Rourke as the top 3 candidates to challenge Trump in the 2020 election according to Democratic voters-all three white men. Despite this news, I'll wait until the primaries to see which candidates performs the strongest. Who knows? Maybe Trump will have a decent challenge! But it wouldn't surprise if Trump won re-election. So far his policies and views radiant strongly with most voters, and the Democrat candidate would possibly be worse than Hillary was in 16!

Beto lost his senate to Cruz. I would wait to run again in 2022 and then maybe run in 2028 if I were him.

Maybe I’m just not seeing the writing on the wall, but I honestly don’t see Trump having an amazing chance of winning 2020. It’s hard to tell how much the public really approves of him when everything is run through the TDS filter 17 times, but I think if the Dems put up an actually charismatic candidate...oh, maybe he will win.

The demographic changes in America will also play a big part in this as well, since most racial minorities, and women, still vote for Democrats regardless of how shitty the candidate is (ex.Hilary Clinton).

And if the Democrats cheat their assess off like they did in the midterm elections, having election officials "finding" pro-Democrat votes hidden in car trunks and basically rendering elections a complete and total joke, then Trump will definitely lose. (Although whether he takes that loss sitting down is another matter.)

Trump winning was only a surprise for people who weren't actually paying attention and/or listening to mainstream media. There's a reason their trust is at an all-time low. They also knew that Trump had an actual shot but told everyone he didn't because that's how they deal with problems. They pretend they don't exist and try to make up a reality they prefer instead.

And that’s part of the reason Trump won. People were lulled into a false sense of security that overlord Hill-Dawg was a sure shot, so they didn’t even go out and vote. I think the Dems have learned from that at least a little bit, and adapted their message for the mid-terms, with the whole “blue wave” thing. I think I had more people telling me to vote (aka vote Democrat) during the mid-terms than I actually did in 2016. If they can stir up that level of voting frenzy again (and I think they can if they offer up the possibility of getting Trump out of office) they’ll have a pretty powerful voter base. I don’t see the Republicans being able to make the same marketing push. They don’t have Hollywood or the media on their side and their voter base is older and tends not to be swayed by these types of things as much.

How delusional can someone believe that the investigations will affect Trump when lots of scandals never really affected other president's before re-election. Give democrats this, they at least know they're going to face off Trump, and no GOP candidate would stand a chance without the party turning on him.
