If she wanted to be a real bitch, she wouldn't bother with the gnome himself, but instead sue Twitter for defamation. With no § 230 in the UK, and with them basically giving Jake free rein to libel her while banning her from responding, they'd effectively be a publisher who lets their reporter defame people at will without even allowing them a reply.
Then she could settle for them permabanning Jake's Secret Garden Gnome account and he'd be completely rekt and never have followers again even if he snuck back on.

The exact phrase was “a 911 call was involved,” not “I called 911” or “someone called 911 regarding me.” That could mean anything. That could mean he was woken up by a fire truck driving past. That could mean he couldn’t use the TV because his mom was watching a police show. I would guess he locked himself in the bathroom to jack off and his mom heard the grunting and thought he was having a heart attack.

I think something happened to his mom or someone else rather than Jake. And lets not forget that he's a whiny asshole so he'd probably try to co-opt any emergency in his neighborhood/family as personal drama even if it doesn't affect him at all.

Like Jake cares about his mom. If she had a medical emergency his feed would be filled with shit about his suffering and inconvenience due to not having his care taker around.
I could see Jake calling 911 because his mom was telling him he had to get a job. He can’t call CPS to cry child abuse so he’d have to go with 911, “halp mommy is transphobic and mean! Haaaalp!!”

I sometimes question who’d be worse off if their mother died: Chris or Jake. I usually decide Jake. He doesn’t have a tugboat and outside of a family member taking him in, doesn’t have a clue on how much rent, utilities and other various bills costs.
He’d have to get a job, a real one, but he can’t even shop for clothes for himself. What would he even wear to an interview? And I know places would still hire him, not great places, but he could get Wal-Mart job and a tugboat if he put in effort but I don’t think that’ll happen. If he even has credit, it’s got to be bad after his failed board game left him in debt.
Chris just seems to possess far better life skills than Jake.

Chris already has a tugboat set up and inherited from Barb a certain level of white trash cunning. He has shown the ability to scare up money for some emergencies, even if it's by milking his paypigs with bullshit.
