I dunno how smart it is to schedule 3 whole events in a row to beg for money, instead of scheduling them equally during December. Also very close to Christmas when many people won't even be at home to watch any stream, except they are just as sad and lonely as he is. If he really wants to make much money he shouldn't do that when kids and adults are potentially abstinent from watching a greasy drunken Santa Clown.
At least they are not squeezed in between Christmas and New Years.

The point of being a twitch streamer or streamer in general is to be entertaining and fun to the auidence/viewers NOT the other way around, you moronic shill. Dave is supposely a "full -time streamer" yet doesn't how to do it and the doesn't know role of being a streamer is. It's really sad and pathetic even for him to believe such nonsense.

It's hard to even call him a streamer. He's only a streamer via technicality. Only the absolute bare minimum of alterations were made when he skipped back to that platform. He openly said he never wanted to have to "perform" for an audience live and he still makes every effort to ensure he doesn't unless it's one of those occassions he can see the (financial) benefit to doing so. His idea of a performance is to have a prerequisite setup like calling something a Salty Stream or a Rage Session or something equally unimaginative - Mr DSP promises anger when it's practically guaranteed to spew out of him every single day anyways over some issue or another in his life. Basically forcing himself to mug for the camera and act like a child when after a decade at this game you'd think he'd realise people come for all the times he's genuinely dumbfounded and enraged by things and that trying to pre-package it with a knowing wink does nothing for anyone.

I don't really sit around watching other streamers but even a cursory glance tells you that they a bunch of them follow basic designs in how they do their thing. DSP took the exact same format he was using on youtube and transplanted it onto his streams. He made no allowance for any sort of research or any change from literally buy everything that's fucking new and play it lazily and that's my thing. He could be saving a bunch of money just in game purchases alone by not doing this. He doesn't need to do this. Nobody is turning up in 2018 to a DSP stream for "hot new releases" and he still doesn't understand that either. Nobody in the world really watches DSP for videogames anymore. Quite how he's never figured this out is beyond me.

If I were him (glad every single day that I'm not) I'd give up the ghost on games and the line of bullshit that I care in the slightest about playing videogames because nobody believes it anyway. I'd do exactly what Tevin does: Watch my catalogue of old shit and comment on it. Then you've got a guy watching another guy watching himself.. Philception? Throw in some IRL streaming as well. His videogame junk is the worst part of the show these days anyways and taking the controller out of his hands and letting him pretend he's playing them might see a 5% spike in brain activity as he sits there with nothing but a blank expression and a goat laugh as his kahmedy routine.

After being triggered by, I kid you not, an in-game character that's addicted to gaining followers on the internet, earlier on the stream he said the following:

"The truth of the matter is... and this is a huge commentary on, like, Youtubers: just because people watch, doesn't mean what you're doing is meaningful or good. Right? Just because people watch you do horrible things on Youtube, like drama videos, toxic content, stealing other peoples content, instulting people constantly, or acting like a fool... it doesn't mean that you're putting out anything of quality or you should be. It is just that people are staring at you because you look so fucking stupid. It's true. Absolutely one-hundred percent true!"

Look at how serious he is about this. Not the slightest notion of anything that could even remotely look like self-conciousness.
The man that royally shat on big streamers/Youtubers weeks ago on his livestream and pushed out another turd on social media to really drive home his point, only causing him to make a (not even) half-assed apology a couple of days later because of his toxic behavior.

Phil is a weird man.

Well, just another $60 retail game that Phil pays MSRP on release thrown into the trash! And it’s a digital copy, because what’s worse than getting a very small percentage credit for a physical trade in? No trade in value at all!

I really don’t understand where he’s getting this idea about his business being stable and successful. He blows $60-$80 a pop multiple times per month to play games that he knows are shit and that he knows he’s gonna hate. I just bought myself Pokémon Ultra Moon as a gift to myself for Christmas, and before that was Monster Hunter Gen, so that should tell you how up to date I am on games nowadays. I’ll tell you what though; I have always gotten my money’s worth. I don’t care if it’s a BRAND NEW GAME or not, I would rather wait and see if I’m going to enjoy it. If Phil just stopped playing certain games and instead played ones he likes more frequently, his fan base would be more engaged and would be more likely to bring people in.

Phil’s biggest issue with his current business model is longevity. I have said it before but I enjoy Witwix and his streams. His chat blows by but he is still able to play the game, talk to random people in chat, give shoutouts, etc. despite the fact that any message typed in chat blows by within a second. He has been playing a lot of Pokémon Let’s Go and Super Mario Maker lately. This is why I keep saying that Phil should honestly just play what HE wants to play. It’s honestly no wonder he’s so bored and not engaged, he’s playing the games that he THINKS his viewers wanna see. The reality? Audiences generally want the streamer to play what they enjoy because it’s not about getting through the latest game as fast as humanly possible... Replayability. Longevity. These are important factors to consider when streaming or playing video games in the first place. If you’re simply playing brand new games because they bring in money but you’re not having fun, why bother? This is why Witwix is successful, he just plays what he wants to and people show up. AND he gets a bunch of donos, cheers and subs, but you know what’s funny about that? In the months that I’ve been following Witwix, I have only ever heard him do plugs ONCE, as in TOTAL. It was a response to a question regarding donations.

I just don’t get it. The fact that he actually cries about not being the center of attention? Calls Prime subs fake fans? Lying about how much extra he’s made thus far, despite it being easy as fuck to figure out?
