He's 100% lying about getting drunk. It'll be like last year where he nurses at most 2 drinks throughout. He's even said to someone on twitter that he's not getting drunk (it's against the Twitch rules, DOOD).

So he'll maybe clown it up and act like a teenager trying to convince his friends at a basement party that he's like soooooooooo wasted, you guys. But that's it.

I mean you're in a thread with near 13 million views and closing in on 80,000 posts. I don't think anyone is going to stop anytime soon. Or at least there'll always be turnover when people get bored and leave. There are always more angry/stupefied/thoughtful people waiting in the wings to replace those who can't take anymore of DSP's shit. The Circle of Laif, dood. He actually needs these people to continue to exist so he can always have someone to blame anyway. His freakish luck wins out again because he will always be able draw in more of them.

See that's the thing. Everyone who acts amazed DSP has made it this long is forgetting just how many people are paying attention to him. I'd bet over three quarters of his cash flow comes from trolls and 'anti-trolls'.

Personally idc who hates him or not. I'm just saying that if anyone thinks they're going to contribute to the downfall of Phil by doing anything other than ignoring him, they're dumber than he is.

I had considered at much, but when I looked at the numbers (at least as best I could tell), troll tips were less than 10%, and I'd bet that troll cheers are less than 25%. I think he has a few true believers, and I think he has a much larger number of people that don't actually give much of a shit about him but were maybe fans from back when and now just want to hang out with the more interesting chat room users. My opinion is that that obvious feeling is (part of) why Phil gets so totally assmad about people not focusing on him. He's narcissistic, but he also has to know that if his stream ends up being a hangout without with no interest in him that they could easily move on somewhere else. Like, say, to Babyinthechat's chat.

On the subject of troll cheers. How many of Phil's chat buddies aren't trolls themselves but throw pennies at the dancing bear because the trolls are there in the first place?

Remember, Phil is always the most boring part of his universe. It's all the sideshows that keep everyone entertained.

He may or may not be a narcissist. I'm not sure it matters at this point. He's got to be careful to not let any domino fall.

Tolls, true believers, chat spergs, 'detractors' -. If anyone leaves the others will get bored and wander off soon after.

This is from his "need support" video from December 5th, but you can go back months and see the right side (from the viewer's perspective) looking odd.
I guess it might partially be due to him shaving certain spots by accident or not being very precise or something. Reminds me of the time his sideburns were noticeably uneven for quite a while, which was rather distracting. :story:

Bugged shaving mechanics, dood.
