>Jim: "You are doing what the WSJ did"
>Kraut: "WHEN DID I WORK FOR THEM"

Is Kraut actually legitimately rеtardеd?
He legitimately is. What's wrong with his spelling? You should definitely be getting the red squiggly underlines when you type on twitter, and it shouldn't matter if he's in Germany or whatever, he should be getting English spellcheck.

At least the faggots on reddit take the time to google words.

I'll just say this: for all the love I have for his gay videos, his twitter drips with autism. It's either him getting into drama wars with le sceptics or him just spouting "completely original opinions" that /v/, /tv/, /co/, or /pol/ totally didn't just spoonfeed him

The only time doxxing is harmful to someone is if they have something to hide, otherwise it usually never amounts to anything.

Or if the doxx is used on an innocent bystander, like Mrs. @Null

Not really. If you have nothing to hide, there isn't much someone can do with your doxx besides annoy you, send you unpleasant packages, and just make things unpleasant. The key is to not react, because they get bored and stop eventually if you don't give them the reaction they want. In the rarest cases, someone could probably come down and hurt you, but again, that's really rare.

Employers won't fire you based on outside input (They can't, in most [but not all] cases of outside input, it wouldn't be legal to terminate someone within the company based on input from outside the company, unless you do something like customer service and you pissed off a customer), and if they do they can risk serious legal trouble.

This is incredibly :optimistic:. Companies are skittish about reputation, and generally have no problem disposing with employees which might be a liability, and "rumors are spreading online that we employ a pedo/literal nazi/other pariah" are a liability regardless of the truth of the accusation. This especially goes for low-skill jobs where employees tend to be easily replaceable. And if they can't fire you because of the rumors (depending on the state, that alone could be enough), they'll find another reason; you were four minutes late last Tuesday or you forgot to spray the mirror while cleaning the bathroom or whatever. Even if you have a case that you are fired unjustly, what are you going to do? Hire a lawyer? You don't have a job anymore.

Certainly I'm fearful that I could be doxed and my association with this forum which literally bullies stunning and brave trans people to suicide could come to light with my employer. I'm not in a low-skill job, but I am in a woke industry where the progressive stack is very much in play in day-to-day life, and I can say without hesitation that my employers would take such an accusation very seriously, and even if I weren't fired, I would be made very uncomfortable for a while. People ordering pizzas to my place and looking up my extensive criminal record I could deal with, but if I can't work, I'm screwed.

I don't agree with Josh and others that say that there is nothing wrong with doxing, especially if the person being doxed is an asshole but not really doing anything illegal (as opposed to the zoosadists, for example). It's like pulling a gun at a rap battle. It's escalating things beyond bantz to a level which can have a serious effect on someone's financial and therefore mental well-being in the real world, and should not be taken lightly.

(And, yes, I do realize where I am and this is probably an unpopular opinion here. Oh well.)

Or swat you and have some small risk of getting you killed. Swatting is ridiculously common in gaming circles and is certainly going to happen to Jim at some point (assuming it hasn't already).

Well the issue with my mom is that they called all her coworkers and threatened to libel them as pedophiles unless she was fired, which worked, because no one has time for that. The thing is, that's a criminal act, and one which shouldn't work to begin with. I suspect in our lifetime everyone's going to have weird shit online about them and employers will be forced to only hire based on merit instead of giving a shit about what's said on the Internet.

Regarding SWATTTTTTTTTING and DOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXING (I'm going to do this until you fucking losers stop spelling it wrong): MundaneMatt was able to "SWAT" Keemstar just by pegging him by nickname as a potential suspect for doing his own SWAT prank. You don't need someone's address for the police to get someone's address.

(P.S. SWAT pranks are also a crime. Whenever someone whinges about doxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxing, they always, always back it up by saying "well it enables someone to do this crime" which is already a crime. Whitepapers themselves do nothing.)

Wait, I thought that Matt had implied or told the police that Keemstar had swatted him ... I didn't think that Keemstar got swatted during his "beef" with Matt.

Precisely. There is nothing that can be done about doxxing if the information posted was already available to the public (The white pages).

As has been said on this website, the best thing you can do to stop yourself from being doxxed is to keep a low profile on the net. Use VPNs, don't use recurring usernames/aliases or even similar ones, use separate emails for business and pleasure (For the pleasure email, make sure it's one that doesnt give away your identity in the address or name associated with the email). I think the big one would be staying off of social media, delete that shit, it's hot garbage anyway.

Common sense on the internet is the best defense against doxxing, so it's best to use it.

That's literally what I just said and I have no idea what the distinction is you're making.

I think he thought you said Matt got keem swatted, as opposed to just telling the cops that keem swatted him.

Nigga, it's spelled doxing, there is no need to add extra Xs.
