I got "misgendered" a lot as a kid because I had really short hair. It was kind of annoying but I didn't start shaking and curl up into a corner or anything. And people were usually really embarrassed once I corrected them, they didn't try to push it or anything.

Oh NO, we must now re-educate SJWs at once! In their ignorance they have tried to teach us to ask people’s pronouns but asking for pronouns is really just less direct way of asking people’s gender. They might have thought that extra loop protects from harm but they were wrong. If sex isn’t enthusiastically consensual it’s a rape, so if you are questioning someone’s gender using pronoun preferences you are still attacking their humanity. Only way to find out someone’s gender is just passively waiting them get comfortable enough to tell you on their own. Just a little story (so powering up), but as a kid (I reckon I was about 7 or 8 ) I went to a summer camp, and one of the girls there had short hair (not pixie cut, but something semi akin to a bowl cut) and wore clothes that any kid could wear. Didn't figure she was a girl and was a bit surprised when she said she was when I kept calling her a he, but it really didn't matter much to my child ass other than feeling a bit bad that I didn't know. The other kid was at best slightly annoyed for a bit before we got back to playing with some of the other kids.

Children can throw hissy fits if you get their gender wrong - not always, but sometimes. But they're under the age of ten. Usually closer to five. The troon outrage doesn't have that excuse - their emotional age might be that low, but that's not something that they should be proud of.

For whatever it is worth I received two letters with that cabbage stamps in 2018, last one in early autumn, I think. It's quite possible they are still on sale (or some people do as I do, have a stock of envelopes with glued stamps ready just to be addressed).
