In Canada, where DV shelters simply don't have enough resources to help the many women trying to leave their violent husbands, more than 300.000 mothers were forced by "homes for unmarried women" to put their children up to adoption because they didn't have a husband. When we get raped, if the perpetrator is ever judged, he can be considered innocent if we didn't fight enough, which we can be accused of even in cases of incest. Thousands of girls undergo female genital mutilation in fucking Finland of all places.
