Does anyone even think this dumbasses statues are worth anything?

Who's going to pay more than Phil did for a street fighter or DC statue?

So I'm late AF to this, but apparently DasBoSchitt (Gmod idiot box creator) was part of sons of kojima or a pay pig to DSP? Has anyone called him out on this dumb shit? He used the 2016 elections as an excuse to stop making videos... I wonder how he himself doesn't have a thread already.

I don't think he was ever involved enough with DSP to have a thread here (unless you mean you think he's a Lolcow deserving of a thread on Kiwi Farms).

From what I understand, DasBoSchitt liked to mock Phil in his videos, then eventually turned supporter. He talked with the Sons of Kojima a handful of times. He wasn't a member.

I don't think he was/is a "paypig" in the sense of throwing heaps of money at Phil. The last time I saw one of Phil's Patreon crawls, DasBoSchitt's name is listed among the supporters.

Das made 3 videos with a DSP inspired character and the SOK had him on a few times and they laughed at Phil. I think he participated in the water charity.

On a different show, they had Jaha on and Jaha said he wanted to get Phil's phone number and prank call him. Das called the show and said this was too far and prank calls are serious business. He just made a few videos mocking Phil, prank calls are actually doing Phil real life harm.

Das then became a supporter of Phil and defended his misappropriation of Patreon funds during some debates with Fred Fuchs.

That's about it.

They are only worth something to manchildren with no concept of monetary value. Any collector probably wont buy something thats been collecting dust and grime in a filthy pigpen

For "Top Haters", Phil's first attempt at a forum, he gave himself the moniker "Big Phil". Here.

Thanks to haunter for this link... Amazing to see the soy boy was a toxic begger back in 2003!!

"Cash donations accepted!!"

Except people do buy them with aftermarket prices and scalping in mind and make good money doing it too because they know collectors can't control themselves. An item is only worth what people are willing to pay for it afterall and some pay big when all the stock has been snatched up. Pretty sure with the amount of anime avatars running around this place there are plenty of figure collectors in our midst. I own a few high end pieces myself and don't see it as a problem if you can afford it and don't let it get out of control. Ya know like trying to fill your entire condo with them the way DSP did.

Not that I really think he even thought much about resale value on them.. I think he wanted them just because all of a sudden he could afford them and had almost no other interests whatesoever to waste money on. They took up residence with him as a substitute for actual friends. Now they're in a closet along with his latent homosexual feelings for ex-real friend John Rambo.

I think he could sell them for a decent amount though it's probably better if the buyer doesn't know DSP is the previous owner.

Reply to the begging thot aside Phil is about to reach 24hrs without a serious adult business tweet. Usually we'd at least be treated to a reminder that it is indeed a day off or in this case the daily health updates...

... Did nurse khet finally snap and poison his oatmeal?

The kind of people who do spend big money on these "collectables" would insist on inspecting the figure before purchasing. I'm convinced he has tried to sell these things before cramming them into th nook, he's stubborn enough to not have budged off a price that would turn him a profit or at least break even... he's probably more flexible now

Are you aware of any rare pieces in his collection? ... serious question

He's definitely tried selling them before and complained about overseas shipping costs as a main factor in why he doesn't want to do it. He's also talked about ebay being full of scammers and how he eventually decided that he wouldn't use the site. In reality we know how greedy he is and you can probably bank on ebay wanting a cut of the sale price rubbing him the wrong way. I agree though people do want very detailed descriptions and a good look at the items. In fact they're incredibly anal about the whole hobby to a degree I can't wrap my head around when it comes to trying to sell a used (even if you took it out the box and stuck it in a glass case for 5 years) item. He's Mr Minimum Effort he wants that money NOW how dare you want to make sure he hasn't played with it in the bath or shoved it up his own ass!

And yeah I'm reminded of Phil when I think of Frank from American Pickers. He's a greedy little fat bearded fucker just like DSP when it comes to trying to give a hundred less than he should to some old people for a rusted coffee can.

Honestly I don't pay enough attention these days to be certain. I don't think he owns anything that I would consider really rare. Of course the market fluctuates as well but I might guess he could get around $600 for his Hulk? Maybe a little more. Problem with that though is it's polystone and that shit is notorious for being easily damaged in transit. His Joker to the right buyer might be worth about the same or a bit more too. Not sure he would have anything else on its own that would reach that high unless I'm just forgetting some stuff he owns its' been a long while since I've seen all his collection.

Hey hey hey. Frank is a pudgy weirdo bundling angel. Take that back!

That video I linked earlier shows how the statue selling scam was operated. Phil puts the item up for auction for 1 week. The only way to bid is by emailing him how much you want to pay. If someone outbids you, Phil will email you back. If you are not American, fuck off. If you are American, expect to pay $30 - $50 more than your bid because shipping is extra. You only have 1 week and then it is gone people so bid now!

Funny, the statue didn't sell.

This is great because he can totally just outright lie and say you got outbid when most likely you didn't. Anything involving his hotmail at this point is just plain sketchy, like the current events.

I mean. It's a hotmail account. In 2019.

View attachment 625127 Oh my God this site that was found is a fucking Goldmine.
Wait Phil, I thought you won tons of events left and right in your fighting game prime?!‽?

Yeah that's... that'st just amazing. I wanna quote it but where do you start?

Who found that link? MrHuth was talking like it's a common thing but I'm surprised I haven't seen it before

For those interested in digging through some of Phil's pre-Youtube stuff while he's on this hiatus (shoutouts to @BuckBumble):

If that's the case, I'll basically pull up the URLs for just about everything I've pulled in the last three or so days.
https://web.archive.org/web/20061102170904/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=109
- "Are You A True Console Warrior?" (To my knowledge, the last thing he wrote for GotNext/NextLevel. Mainly just fightstick reviews, though we get some early mentions of moves not coming out and whatnot)

https://web.archive.org/web/20061102171055/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=97
- "Review: World of Warcraft"

https://web.archive.org/web/20061102170922/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=96
- "Review: Armies of Exigo" (Some sort of obscure RTS game, though this review is more proof that he played Starcraft/Warcraft)

https://web.archive.org/web/20050311230139/http://www.got-next.com/features/2004awards/page4.php
- "The Year In Review - 2004" (To my knowledge, this is the only 'staff' article he participated in, it's also my favorite in terms of contents. More WoW server whining here)

https://web.archive.org/web/20061102173043/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=66
- "Review: Half-Life 2" (I find this one interesting because we get a bit of dicksucking for Counter Strike Source in it, yet this was posted around the same time as his Top-Haters rant on WC and CSS.)

https://web.archive.org/web/20061102173238/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=64
- "The Cold, Hard, Truth" (Apparently a new editorial that got cancelled after its debut, here's the beginning of the WoW server whining along with some classic Phil sperging.)

https://web.archive.org/web/20061102173110/http://www.got-next.com/features_read.php?id=63
- "DSP on DS" (His first post to the site, and some pretty typical Phil. Includes some random Metroid Prime bashing, and complaining that in Mario vs Donkey Kong he would "run off of cliffs even though he'd pressed the jump button")

I'll be putting the SRK and Top-Haters stuff in another post, mainly because my findings on the former are limited to times when he was quoted later in the thread, and a lot of the Top-Haters stuff was already posted by the Archives. I also have Phil's old Usenet/IRC name, but I'm wary about copying links from google since I don't want to accidentally dox myself.

I'm probably going to have taken a while to post the SRK links - I have to dig through the threads themselves to find him.

- Phil bragging about the money match he brags about on Top-Haters, as shown on the DSPArchives' screenshots. Also includes a giant IRC textdump which reveals his old IRC/Usenet name.

http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/comment/2318/#Comment_2318
http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/comment/2322/#Comment_2322
- Phil's Loveshy level screed, includes second post. Something I'd like to note is that he mentions posting something like this on another forum. I haven't found anything yet, but I am looking.

http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/comment/2328/#Comment_2328
http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/comment/2330/#Comment_2330
- Post from later in that thread, apparently he made a pass at ShadyK's girlfriend. Includes one of Phil's usual attempts at damage control by simultaneously calling it a lie and then saying it was drama that was in the past.

- Phil having a massive spergout over an event he didn't even attend, including a King of Hate speech that's almost on the level of the "IT MAKES ME STRONGER" bullshit.

I managed to accidentally find more while I was picking up some of the older posts. Will be doing top-hater links next.

For Top-Haters, I'm just gonna post direct links to any articles/other fun sources of info. I know the Archives have posted screens of a lot of the site, but if the Lolcow Wiki ends up having a page for Phil, I'd like to make sure that quotes and whatnot can be sourced.

https://web.archive.org/web/20030628014136/http://www.top-haters.com/whywehate.htm
- The original 'Why We Hate' page, which is basically him ranting like a child for several paragraphs.

Compare to: https://web.archive.org/web/20031226065357/http://www.top-haters.com/whywehate.htm
- A later snapshot of the 'Why We Hate' page, which is maybe a single paragraph about how edgy they're going to be.

https://web.archive.org/web/20030606213313/http://top-haters.com/main.htm
- This appears to be a page that only appears if you enter the main page through the archive's earliest snapshot. Even manipulating the snapshot date irreversibly changes it to a different page unless you go back. It's mainly more Phil sperging.

https://web.archive.org/web/20030628013936/http://www.top-haters.com/ecccontroversies.htm
-Phil ranting about some ECC drama.

https://web.archive.org/web/20031016033948/http://www.top-haters.com/combovideos.htm
-Giant rant about combo videos

https://web.archive.org/web/20030808182104/http://www.top-haters.com/main.htm
- Phil's "Last Goodbye" rant

https://web.archive.org/web/20041014023346/http://www.top-haters.com/archives.htm
- A full archive of every article Phil had written as of the last snapshot. Includes a wealth of information, including:

- Phil's rant about how Punisher was better than Kill Bill Vol. 2
- A ramble about Naruto
- Whining that his forums aren't being used
- Outright hosting links to Supernova, an old Torrent site
- Outright admitting to stealing material from Penny Arcade to start a shitty webcomic that only had two pages.

https://web.archive.org/web/20040628103448/http://www.top-haters.com/mapquest.htm
- Phil failing to Mapquest in his quest for poontang from women he finds insane.

https://web.archive.org/web/20040524061116/http://top-haters.com/sales.htm
- Rant about an apparent scam that Circuit City was running, along with confirmation that he was working for them at the time this was posted.

This is all I've found so far, though the archives themselves apparently have images stored that I can't seem to access.

All of Phil's posts on top haters:
http://archive.is/kE7rW
http://archive.is/PvKUL
http://archive.is/CPzvI

http://archive.is/nj78W (Mixup vs Demon Hyo on SRK thread)
http://archive.is/SUHx6 (DSP bitches about no visitors)
http://archive.is/lF0Zx (I'M THE MAYOR)

I may have missed some, but it's not too hard to search for.
