:powerlevel: these pins are the worst thing on the planet. At pride this year I saw a couple of kids with badges similar on their bags/hats and... you can't even buy these badges at pride events, that's how bad they are. People who had them already had them. If I saw someone with these badges on a fedora, I'd walk across the street. It's like a built-in virgin signal.

Yeah those are damn near exclusively made by people on Etsy who don't believe any of it and are just looking to make money off these perma-virgin incel-lites. Those things are shoddy, ugly, cost pennies to make and they sell them by the hundreds for 10 bucks a pop to idiots like Staph Infection.

You don't see them sold at pride parades because by and large the LGBT community doesn't like or tolerate this nonsense, but the internet has many little pockets of freaks and geeks who will eat this shit up and flash it around in public.

Shit, if I had a badge maker and a steady stream of clientele, I'd make every single fucking kintype badge I could think of. I'd make badges saying "down with cis" or "Ruth BAEder GinsBAE" or fucking whatever. If my tax dollars are going to SSDI for these idiots I might as well make a little of it back.
Hmm...maybe it's time to start buying discount felt and making little pride flags. My first $20 will go towards the Farms.

You can make incredible amounts of money just making hair bows in neo-gender/neo-sexual flag colors. Go to Walmart, get a bunch of cheap 3/8th inch ribbon in various colors and stitch them together into one big ribbon in the right pattern, then turn that into a hair bow and stick a little heart in the center of it over the cinch, sell it for 20 bucks and shipping. Two bows in and you've made back your supply spending, 4 in and you've turned a decent profit.

Check out my up-and-coming etsy shop, K. Farmer Creations, where I tie knots in rainbow-colored embroidery floss and ask people for $30 for the "artisan choker".

You don't see that shit at pride because at pride, people tend to sell higher quality shit. If there are pins, they're enamel with some actual skill involved.
I've seen ace shit at pride, but not a lot of it, and that's because everyone rolls their eyes when someone compares asexuals dealing with jokes about being ace to gays being denied service or adoption rights. There's real issues in the world, and you not being able to get laid is NOT one of them.
Aces and trans communities suffer a lot of the same shit: there are genuinely people who are ace and trans who are just trying to live their goddamn lives, and then there are people who wanna be called hellgender and asexual people saying that suggesting maybe kids not be ushered to rush into "oh im ace!" is the same as saying you want ace people dead.

The irony of her reblogging this is outstanding. Does she even know which end of the broom is used to sweep?

There are forums onlime for people who suffer from IBS, so I'm sure there are also forums for people who have.. whatever she had. Why can't she go onto those websites? It fucking is nasty to hear about your shitting habits and only people with the same problems as you would want to hear about it.

Probably because she'd be kicked off for being a goddamn bummer. Part of the use of those groups is not focusing on what was uncomfortable or bad, but focusing on the good.

Steph wants so bad to focus on the uncomfortable. She seems to genuinely flick her bean to being seen as a sickly victim of a cruel life. People who see surgery as means to a good, productive life will not put up with someone who wants to lay around all day and beg for shitty pins on the internet.

It sounds like she had part of her colon (large intestine) removed. There are definitely online support groups for this, and of course shitting comes up now and then, but mostly it's due to the fact that you don't really shit normally for a month or so after the surgery. It's mostly 'is this normal post op?' or something along those lines.

People on those sites are mostly concerned with cancer or occasionally colitis, not obsessed with shit, but staying alive. Her talk would get her banned pretty quick.

Source: on a bunch of those forums, had 31 centimeters of my colon removed a few years back, glad to be alive.

Hmmm I'm almost inspired by Staff's pins to make my own line of buttons for those with poop problems. Inspiring lines such as "Celebrate my pooping!" "I had 6 inches of my intestines removed" and "Peepeepoopoo for life!"
That's already a huge thing in "spoonie" communities. Shirts and hats with stick people next to toilets shouting things like, "I POOPED TODAY!" for example.
A lot of people with celiac / IBS / etc. can't stand them, so it's great teasing material.

Probably. I wonder if she has posted on those before.

First, sorry about your health problem (:_( Hope you're doing better now

Second, she really does seem more concerned with her shit than whatever caused her to have part of her colon removed. Would she get banned primarily for going off topic or for being gross?

Ew. I(PL) used to have gastrointestinal issues and the last thing in the world I would've wanted was anyone finding out- somehow I doubt that anyone that brags about pooping really has anything wrong with them.

A) thank you, for the moment I'm fine, but need yearly checkups for the next few years :(
B) she'd be banned because she comes off as a scat fetishist. Some shit talk happens because, well, the sexiest cancer, and there's all sorts of problems for a while post surgery. I said about a month, but that seems about the minimum: 3 months is normal too.

It's not about how abnormal your poo is, it's mostly 'oh fuck I could die I'm shitting blood' talk. She fetishizes it, makes it part of her identity. In the forums I'm on, the nasty shit issues are a symptom, a byproduct. The issue is mostly cancer, and we're all scared they we won't reach 40, 50, 67 and 2 months.

She does not have a life threatening problem, good for her, and it's normal to be scared of surgery, but she trivializes all that. I don't know what her problem was, but it was not life threatening, and she turned it into some 'but me!!!' thing, which would not go over well in a community of people who were/are legit worried that they'll survive the next decade, take steps to improve their odds, and try to let go of the bullshit because when you have a scare like that, you realize that there's so much that doesn't matter.

Like basically everything that she seems to care about.

She had endometriosis on her bowel and they ended up having to remove some to get rid of the endo. So no, not life threatening in the slightest
