If you happen to browse their timeline, you will quickly realize that they are a full blown TERF and that they are extremely obsessed with people like Yaniv. They try using him as a sort of springboard for their batshit insane agenda. After a while, Yaniv's KF thread gets thrown around, and these tweets get posted:

TERFs are a good example of the old adage that a stopped clock is right twice a day.

They are mostly correct about the inanity of much of the transgender ideology, and they do occasionally raise some genuine concerns about it's logical conclusions, but in the end, they are ultimately just as detached from reality as the trans-activists they criticize; perhaps even more so.

I've had some interactions with TERFs in the past, and the most consistent thing I've noticed about them is that a good portion of their worldview seems to be informed by strong feelings of bitterness and maladjustment; especially as it relates to the opposite sex. In this sense, they are perhaps not all that dissimilar from incels, only without such an obvious desire for sexual companionship.

Another thing I've noticed about them is that they're generally only capable of making a convincing point when they're on the offensive. Put them on the defensive, and their arguments typically crumble under their own self-referential weight.

I think that a lot of the contention around discussing TERFs is rooted in the fact that nobody can really agree upon what a TERF even is. I imagine that most people on KF are like me in that you think of people like Cathy Brennan and the GenderTrender-esque crowd. I certainly think that these genuinely radical types are, indeed, worth poking fun at.

However, the waters become muddied by the fact that radical leftists use an incredibly low bar for defining someone as a TERF. JK Rowling is considered a TERF because she favorited a tweet about anti-trans bathroom rhetoric. Within the social media sphere of these people, you're considered a TERF if you joke about disliking penises or if you wear one of those absurd pussy hats.

As a result, you end up with a bunch of naive left-leaning normies branded as TERFs when, in reality, most of them probably don't know who the hell Andrea Dworkin or Valeria Solanas even is.

Anyways, my point is that while I fully support making fun of idiots like Cathy Brennan and her ilk, I can also understand why some people become defensive about criticizing TERFs when it's pretty much just become a convenient label to dismiss anyone who supports evil fascist concepts like "biological sex" and "genital preference."

Hell, some people even accuse KF of being some kind of TERF hivemind, which is fucking laughable.
