Your grandma got mad because you kept acting like an exceptional individual
I don't buy that someone who's actually so profoundly disabled that that behavior would be their normal, could also type that up, with proper spelling and grammar. If they actually did what they described, it was all for attention.

I don't doubt they might have done it for real because they probably got in their head they are this disabled/autistic when in fact this isn't the case. This is tumblr's brainwashing people into acting retarded. I'm sure before tumblr they didn't do this shit.

Wow, man. Tumblr knows everything.

I may be :late: but "able-bodied" refers to people who aren't physically disabled. So you can be mentally disabled but your body is completely functional.
That's what I first though, but their way of wording it just sounds stupid. Just say mentally ill.

I'm not saying their argument is totally senseless but there's an exception for every rule and if you weight 400lb you are clearly an exception.

You can have a disability that is physiological but not physically obvious like a seizure disorder. Some disabilities go into remission but that doesn't make you not disabled. Crips shouldn't fight among themselves tho.

Whenever I see these “women are intrinsically more selfless” nonsense (which by the way I thought the whole “women are better providers” thing was patriarchal and sexist now) I always think of a story I heard where a soldier was stationed out in Vietnam and was helping a village to evacuate. One of the villagers was a woman with a baby and a small pig. The soldier, assuming that the mother would obviously choose the baby, told her she could only take one. The woman thought about this for about a minute, before proceeding to take the baby to a nearby rice field to drown it.

Her reasoning apparently being that she could eat the pig in the meantime and make another baby later.

Now fellas, I dunno about you, but I always got to sit out of the "sharing is caring" talks at preschool to go to my Selfish Asshole classes with all the other boys.

A much easier refutation would be to remember that fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, spas, and luxury personal care items like expensive shampoos or anti-wrinkle moisturizers are all industries primarily kept alive by women, and are all rooted in a ((selfish)) desire to raise oneself over others by appearing more wealthy or beautiful.

An even easier refutation yet is to skim the blogs of everyone who reblogged this and see how many are actually in charitable or highly emotionally tolling professions (EMTs, first responders, disaster aid & evacuation, volunteers for the impoverished, etc.) and how many are unmotivated “Wahhhh adulting is HARD :,(“ NEETS.
