I like Stephie, she seems to be a nice, but troubled and mentally ill girl/boy.

I like her dad too. While he shouldn't enable Stephie's mental illness, he just wants his child to be happy, even if it means getting scorn by society for having a trans child. I still hope Stephie will get out of that trans phase, accept she's a boy and be happy about it. It's nothing to be sad of! Being a boy has its perks, even though it's females who live life on easy mode.

Embroidery is one of those handcrafts that have become really popular among upper-class hipsters in the past few years. I'm not too surprised he's trying it out, though I doubt he'll keep up with it long.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but Drag Kid has his own thread here "Desmond is Amazing". However, I personally think it should be named after his fucking parents who are the true lolcows, just like Gwen is the real lolcow of the Hartley Hooligans thread.

As somebody who is more on the Left than the Right, the utter lack of criticism from almost ANY media other than the Christian Right is super-depressing. I don't personally know a single liberal IRL who would be cool with this shit... yet the ones who are have prominence in the media and are totally OK with this. The weirdest part is that if this same boy and his similarly-aged buddies dressed up like girls for Halloween as a lark, the hardline trender crowd would lose their shit about "appropriation" and "mocking trans people". But put him up on a stage and have grown men throw money at him and all of a sudden it is "empowering".

So fierce! So brave!

I feel that, I'm quite left but theres some shit that isn't okay. I'm all for letting kids figure their shit out, but that means not pushing either thing on them.

And you know, if this were just kids hanging out together and playing drag race, that's one thing. The MINUTE adults, especially folks like Alig, are around them it becomes a problem. Kids have always done stupid shit together, and this would be no different, but even if you're an adult fine with this, it's like beauty pageants: it's just a breeding ground for pedo creeps.

There was supposed to be a full reboot last year too. Supposedly to improve the art style and make it match newer strips, but I imagine the goal is to erase certain things from the past, like the giant clitoris, Sandrat being bullied into wearing a dress, "SUCK MY DICK!", etc.

i read the webtoons upload and its honestly so much better than the new shit even though its still labelle, there were backgrounds then. :(
anyways, I think I may have missed the "Nail Polish" bit on its original upload and dear god does ciel/sandrat look terrified the entire time
