Should they sit there in silence and instead be somber about a few bucks wasted on the pig? If a troll tip is funny then why not laugh?

I really don't get this mentality of calling out every single troll tip as if it's the worst thing ever. It's almost like Dark "totally not addressing drama" while talking about it for 15 minutes every prestream.

Let me assure you that regardless of a few shekels coming from da trolls or not: Dave will continue to be a miserable shadow of the pig he used to be and just continue to exist. We will get our LuLz either way, especially once the refinance arc hits because that will be the biggest shit show yet.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to SoK here but this troll tip / cheer thing is an oddly specific one to get assblasted about.

It's sad that he wants "participation" and "engagement" yet he won't even do the bare amount of participating in his own chat to keep his fanbase engaged. How fucking LAZY can you be?

If Phil actually answered questions that creates conversations. Which would make people want to chat with you even more? And if you're basically charging to answer questions, cause you're a piece of shit, that's gonna get you a lot more tips coming your way.

Only smart people own their own business? A guy in my town re financed his house and opened a taco shop in town. He was filing for bankruptcy in 6 months. Any joe blow can own their own business if they have money. Being smart is owning a business in a stable market.

If his business was stable all he would have to do is play his games and entertain his chat. Instead, he spends 3 hours a day begging for money and making tips goals just so he can pay his bills. Twitch and Youtube sign his checks, he doesn't pay himself. So no, he doesn't own his own business anyway.

I always said Phil getting good at games it would be leaving money on the table. Saying that I don't think he tries to play bad, he just doesn't try at all. It isn't really all that different except taking away Phil's credit for planning it out.
He just turns on the camera and expects people to take his hand and lead him through the game while making thousands of dollars and constant pats on the back for doing such hard work.

Can you do that on PS3 or whatever console he's on? My understanding was that that's only an option on the PC version.

Have there been any legitimately funny troll tips in recent memory? A troll tip that generates a reaction is one thing, but the overwhelming majority nowadays just get a "Thanks for the money, dummy" or "Another trolltip. Thanks for the (insert amount here)" and that's it. For fuck's sake, that "The Goutening" moron spent $150 to get laughed at. If the tip is less than $5, it doesn't even show up on screen for everyone to laugh at. Further, why would you spend $5 when you could spend 50 cents to cheer and get the same on-screen popup? Or better yet, just tag Phil when he's looking at chat and say some shit. The best reactions trolls have gotten have come (imo) from people just shittalking him in chat OR asking him some question designed to get him riled up to go on a rant, and they generally manage that shit for free.

For me at least, it's not really about some high-morality stance...it's wondering why someone would piss away money when they could accomplish the exact same objective (an angry reaction from Phil) for free. Especially when he's screening every tip for trolling now.

What was his reaction the troll shit? He goes back and forth on mocking the idiots who do it and getting a cheap laugh out of it.

Also last time I was there his chat was laughing at those morons the same way we laughed and mocked the idiot who gave dark all that money yesterday.

He pressed the wrong button in a scramble and fell off the cliff then immediately did it again, now he sits there watching the other 3 players playing, complaining about the server being laggy and the game sucks

Every time I witness something like that I start wondering, if this is just fake trolling. Like faggings or another whale doing these tips under a fake account to "get back at dem detractors by riling them up". I mean, since I'm a part of KF I witnessed all kinds of autisms with detractors, but surely nobody can be this dumb? Or drunk?

Hey guys, the trolls are giving Phil hundreds of dollars because you talk about them for days afterwards.

They aren't trolling him, they're trolling you.

Inb4 tons of "jokes on them I was just pretending to be mad" posts.

The best Phil trolls are the ones that really yank Phil's chain and make him no money - the watermarks were the last good DSP troll.

I’m so confused...

Someone try and help me understand. Phil claims that the self employed are some of the smartest people on earth. Phil is obviously trying to lump himself in this category... and then he says that normal jobs don’t have security...

Does he truly realize what he does? Does he understand that his job has the least security of any job on the planet? He has no money saved, no retirement plans, he’s just hoping he can beg on Twitch until the day his plaque filled arteries fail him and he dies. So who is he to say that someone with a normal 9 to 5 has no security compared to what he does? The only positive I can see about what he does is that he’s his own boss... which is a gigantic problem for Phil, as he will take an entire week off because of a sore throat, and he has the easiest, “job,” of anyone on planet earth. Normal people who are struggling with bills and shit and wouldn’t DARE take time off for a little sore throat or a cold. I’ve gone to work with a fever of 103 and did my fucking job, because it’s being responsible. Nigga makes it seem like he’s the smartest guy in the room...

If that were the case, he would have a very lucrative Twitch channel and wouldn’t have to beg and pretend he’s broke all the time and fake cry for pity bucks.

Just a reminder, in case anyone forgot, Phil decided to use his parents to emotionally manipulate his fans into giving him money. His parents are very VERY likely to be healthier than our boy Dark. He is a 100% scumbag.

I can't/won't attest for the funniness of the troll tip in particular. It was more of a general comment.

Sure, you may get more Keks per Shekel out of the situation with other means but at the same time I am thinking of I was sitting here and counting every dollar others spend on something that I don't understand I'd be just as miserable if not worse than Dave.

I just enjoy laughing at him and the shit he does/says/gets himself into and that's why reading post after post of "le fail trolls dun it again" can get a little old. Tho I understand where you are coming from with your view on so please pardon my willful ignorance when it comes to the economics of trolling him :)
