I know that part the "geist" here is to shit on Phil and assume that everything he says is a lie if it makes him look bad, but the way he shilled for spawnseats when he got the chair leads me to believe he got something out of that exchange.

I wouldn't treat most of what he says as a lie if he didn't do things like hold huge fundraisers to help pay his taxes and then reveal he put them all on credit cards nine months later. If he's going to lie about something like that, then a sponsorship showing up, for precisely the same product as the sponsorship he just lost publicly on account of his horrible reputation, is highly suspect.

This is all ignoring the fact that he also followed the regular DSP pattern of "someone does something to benefit Phil and then he shits on them later" as he's stated several times that the chair is, at best, mediocre, and only when someone asks him about it. If he actually got it as part of a deal wouldn't you think the person on the other end would be pissed that the guy never even talks about it, and that it hardly ever features on his streams? If there was a deal Phil would have his end of it to hold up.

That Phil shilled hard for a company for about 24 hours before detractors tanked the deal isn't enough for me.

Yeah, he got a chance at getting like $10 commission for each chair his 'tard fans bought through his "affiliate" link. Same reason he does the Teespring store. He makes relatively little profit (let's say $5 per item), but his idiot fans make all the designs for him, so all he has to do is upload the images and collect the passive money.

In other news, during yesterday's 2nd stream D$P was in rare form* ranting so vehemently against gaming chairs and the Tractors that people in his chat started cheering for him to watch what he was saying so he'd see what they had typed before. D$P went on to rail against their admonishments stating nothing he said would get him in trouble because it was all true. Yes, D$P these random people who you do not know are 'all mentally ill'. A $5 tip stating that people who don't like others will tend to believe negative things without evidence garnered a full blown 'Escort saga' retelling while riding high on $210 in tips.

On the subject of tips, while they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks it seems a pig might be able to learn. D$P urged viewers to up the total to $250 for him to dab. At $217 tips, he made another push saying he'd consider streaming a little longer if the $250 goal was reached...'Not gonna happen though...*insert fake laugh*...we're never gonna do that' . At $219, a $31 tip from Swagginz ( which D$P doubted, claiming it to be an impersonator....must feel nice when your tip is attributed to someone else ) saw D$P doing a very odd 'double dab'...though he did not stream longer saying shortly after reaching this 'tier 2 goal' that he planned to call it a night as soon as he found a save point...which he did in short order ending with $254 in tips.

As for gameplay, earlier, D$P 'accidentally' teleported repeatedly causing him to have to rerun the area ( aka grind xp ) before an area he knew had difficult mobs if not high enough lvl. During the 'fights', he spent more time reading chat than playing the game. I say reading, because that is what he was doing, just reading while rarely responding unless money was taped to the message.

Don't expect anything. If they don't pay him, Phil will say no. And he will say no regardless because he is a pussy and can't comprehend exposure. Especially not from the sphere of Drunken Peasants who are basically detractors. Also Phil would have to leave the house and get in contact with strangers, it sounds like.

The Drunken Peasants invitation reminded me of the time DSP was scheduled to go on Jordie Jordan's podcast back on January 15 2015 and Philip didn't have to spine to say he wouldn't do it instead offering up a child's excuse of "I'm sick" on the 12th despite the fact he put out "gameplay" footage with his god awful commentary on the 13th 15th and some KOgaming video on the 14th. The clips discussing DSP from the show appear to have been from the livestream and I can't check if they are available right now due to the current status of Wings' Twitch channel.
Philip must not think much of Wing's to have blown him off twice like that.

@SoapQueen1 Sorry I'm so late responding... I'm this far back in my reading of the forum. Yes, chat is Chatty which shows the extra info about bans. Video is Livestreamer which doesn't show Dave's ads or gets counted by Twitch.

Also, I have made some changes since then. The stream starts when Dave starts and shuts down 30 mins after he goes offline, this will make archiving much easier than having to look through super long videos for something specific. But the possibility of capturing after stream chat shenanigans are lost. Also a live sub count has been added. Feel free to @ me if anyone has other suggestions on what you want to see from this.

and he'll need 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes
and he'll need to see all questions and/or KHANTENT before hand so no questions can blindside him and his ego wont be hurt
and he'll need to be able to beg on their podcast to make up for a lost business day

D$P drove when Leanna didn't have a driver's license and after she left. He claims not to be able to drive on anything other than side roads due to the danger of his 'severely herniated disk' causing a leg cramp that could in turn result in a fatal car crash. I believe his unwillingness to go anywhere alone is due to a fear of encountering 'detractors' irl.

An even larger issue would be him actually playing Super Turbo in an irl setting. It would be far to embarrassing for him to try and explain away his failings in an offline setting with no 'Online' excuses to fall back on. Add to the mix an inability to control what is said by others in the room during the stream outside of getting up and leaving as well as not being able to censor the stream chat and there is no way D$P is even going to entertain the idea of doing any of this for any price.

Agree. The only people in the world who can genuinely tolerate Phil are already in his chat on a daily basis, and don't have the social skills needed to do something like organize a moderately popular podcast.

The whole "I'm smarter than you" rant is certainly up there in the most delusional things Phil has ever said. Phil probably thinks the only type of boss is someone that comes over and tells you to put the cover sheet on your TPS report, thus you've become someone else's "stooge" according to him. More importantly, here's what Phil should take into consideration: Who the fuck cuts his paychecks? Twitch and YouTube (also to a much lesser extent, Patreon). Those are his bosses, we know this because any time there's a policy change within those companies that could potentially negatively effect Phil (or he just flat out gets banned), he goes into instant panic mode and starts violently shaking in his chair. They don't come over and tell him what to do like in a normal, hierarchical workplace, but he is completely dependent on them for their platform and financial payouts. Being your own boss would mean the only people you're beholden to are the customers, and even then you could make a semantics argument that the customers are the boss for the reason that ultimately they're responsible for your success or failure. He is not his own boss, plain and simple.

It's like having a "cool boss" who pays you a ton of money and let's you work from home on your own schedule. As long as you produce, it's all good. Except for Phil he'll work from home, act like he is the boss running the business, and rake in the dough while talking shit about his boss, the company, and how everyone is stupid, immature, and they're not paying him enough to do this shit.

At some point I was on some other persons phone and decided to look up dsps gameplay videos on youtube, and I shit you not, his 1 hour videos has an ad every 5 minutes
