I mean, holy shit, this is her problem. She hasn't started fresh. There hasn't ever been a start to anything. A couple day's journey is not a new start. I'm not convinced she has a game plan.

I think she reflexively lies and hides shit because she's ashamed, but maybe has little flashes of awareness and wanting to use social media to keep accountable. The problem is she's been such a wretched person that barely anyone likes her, she she can't handle the criticism, so she immediately reverts to lying in hopes that it will make things better. In part because she thinks she's smarter than everyone that watches her videos, so she thinks she'll get away with lying. Her go-to response to people that call her out on her BS is to scoff and imply they need to get a life, as though it takes more than two seconds to know she's full of it.

One of her biggest problems is that she has no real plan. She's far too unrealistic and short-sighted, which is why she fails over and over and over.

I think in Chantal’s position the humongous amount of work to be done to get to any kind of human appearance really does seem like an insurmountable amount of effort. Welcome! Yeah sometimes she seems like she’s just stuffing food down her gullet to feel it go down, not to enjoy it. It’s a bit creepy to watch.

She is shamed to the point of paranoia that someone in the parking lots of her fast food haunts will see her in her car, ramming food down her gullet. In her most recent video, this became an issue as she tried to hide her immense eggplant head behind the sun visor of her (Bibi's sister's?) car, barely getting it to swing past her fat forehead. Her shifty eyes dart right and left, she tries to conceal the food by holding it below the window, she'll mumble things like "get a life" under her breath to people innocently walking by. She has done these things in almost any of her parking lot binge videos. In her last video, she was especially self-conscious and embarrassed.

This is especially weird since she has no qualms about stuffing her piehole on camera in front of thousands of viewers. Most people in the parking lot are unlikely to even care what she is doing, and the sight of someone eating a burger in a car outside of a McDonald's is not the most startling thing in the world. Chantal's 400-pound appearance is startling, but that is true wherever she goes. I would think it would be more embarrassing to eat like a glutton in front of people who know you rather than in front of complete strangers, which is why it is so strange she is bothered by binging in the parking lot and not bothered by binging online.

I also noticed that it’s pretty common among HAES fats to be super confident and positive on camera/by themselves and when they have a video out in the wild (e.g. torrid/Walmart in store try-on or whatever) they are super self conscious and tame.
