Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

But seriously, imagine being a real insider source, high enough in the political machine to know secrets about Trump that even the FBI couldn’t figure out. You decide to go to a news outlet to leak your info...why the fuck would you pick Buzzfeed?
Because my boss is a troll, and I'm doing it for the lulz myself most likely. Either that or I'd know I could make up things like Trump in his off time makes limo demolition derbies happen where he just eats a tub of ice cream while watching it and these idiots would pay me.

These are the retards who thought and tried to push that Trump watches the Gorilla Channel after all.

Didn't you know? Buzzfeed does serious journalism now! Their first big hit was the original Trump Steele Dossier that every other news outlet passed on.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump–Russia_dossier

I'm also pretty sure this was the original source that got everything to think there was collusion, some retired MI6 dude who was contracted by the Dems to dig up dirt on Trump.

Actually I'm pretty confident what was going on there. All the news agencies had been sitting on the dossier for months. No one would report on it because it was so unsubstantiable and laughable that it would be embarrassing to report on it seriously.

Then CNN got desperate. They wanted anything to cover their ass for failing to get Hillary elected with hundreds of millions to billion dollars of campaign ads unbiased reporting. However, even they knew the dossier was quite the Canadian girlfriend story. So, they decided to be coy, say the story was developing, and that they were only going to be reporting on vague details of it, so they could make it sound scarier and more legitimate than it was.

However, this was stupid. Lots of news agencies had the full thing. The Dems were trying to get as many eyes on it as they could. CNN let the the world know there was a cat in the bag, and whoever let that cat out of the bag was going to get crazy clicks, from desperate TDS sufferers dreading the looming inauguration to hardcore Trumpeters looking to discredit it. BuzzFeed was the first outlet shameless enough to hold their nose and put their logo above that piece of shit for clicks.

I'll go further and say it could possibly be a case of collaboration among the TDS suffering outlets. Buzzfeed knows it has no real credibility, so they lose nothing by reporting this. All the other outlets, however, get to report on it now by saying "Buzzfeed reported"... something they're being very careful to do, always saying it came from Buzzfeed. Basically when it becomes obvious it's more fake news, all the other outlets can just shrug and go "Hey, we were just telling you what Buzzfeed said, we never actually weighed in on its veracity." Then on whatever the current incarnation of Journo-List is, they all pat Buzzfeed on the back and croon "Good jahhhhb!"

I don't know why you guys are pissing on the dossier so hard, because according to Wikipedia...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump–Russia_dossier

In May 2018, former career intelligence officer James Clapper stated that "more and more" of the dossier had been validated over time.[23] Overall, some allegations of the dossier have been corroborated,[24] others remain unverified and, according to a December 2018 Lawfare retrospective, "none of [the dossier], to our knowledge, has been disproven."[25] Some parts of the dossier may require access to classified information for verification.[26][27]

Emphasis mine.

Looked at source 24 on wikipedia to try dig a bit deeper and this is what i find

The only thing i found of substance is this:

but then again there is no source for this either other than some anonymous intercept.

People still believe in a piss tape.

I think it's not so much that they believe it, as they want it to be true. They know it ain't, but they desperately need the validation of it being so, so they make believe, like with Tina Fey's Sarah Palin impression ("I can see Russia from my house!") or trannies.

IIRC the navy is doing a huge build up in capital ships. why not scrap a few and use that to fund the wall?

I'll treat this as a serious question:
The reason is because the capital ships being built will replace ships slated to age out. The aging ships would require disproportionately expensive maintenance to keep in service. Ship building is also not something you turn off and on, especially DoD shipping. Ships take the better part of a decade to be designed and built, you have to hire & vet the builders, etc. Stopping a ship's construction is always more expensive than completing it unless you intend to permanently/near permanently shrink your navy by that ship.

When you see stuff like "NAVY HAS 8.2754 BALLIJION DOUBLE DOLLAR PONTOON BOAT" that is the total cost of the project. This includes things like spare parts, service, etc and is usually paid out over several years. Imagine if when you bought a new car, you had to pre-pay 10 years of insurance & routine maintenance in addition to the cost of the car. However, more importantly it includes guarantees of things like 'repair workers' and 'dry dock availability' should anything go wrong. Sometimes ships are out of service for months, or need to move while damaged to other states or other countries, to find a dry dock. And god forbid if any of the companies that made a part you need went under or shutdown the product line. Paying (well, lets be honest overpaying) for this access ahead of time ensures that the Navy isn't sitting thumb-in-ass waiting for a dry dock to open up.
This is why companies salivate over government contracts: The government always pays, and if you land one of these contracts its money that comes in on schedule for years. And if you make a product that exceeds the government's very easy to hit reliability standards, you profit. (and this isn't including all the other horseshit, like saying your supplies have increased their prices so you need to be paid more, you can pull to wring out more money)

Anyway, the reason the government deals with this horseshit and does all this because when you DON'T do it, this is what happens:

Speaking of the infamous "pee pee tapes", I haven't heard anything from Tom Arnold recently and he was the guy going around claiming they existed and that they were in his possession, until he kept changing his narrative. First he has them, then he knows someone who has them, then he knows someone who's seen them, then he knew someone who knew someone who had seen them... It goes on. I'm guessing he fell back into irrelevancy or is his Twitter still active?

Yep.

At issue is a report by BuzzFeed News that Trump told Cohen to lie about negotiations over the Moscow project during the 2016 campaign. The Associated Press has not independently confirmed the report.

Wasn't he supposed to have a show on Vice? Did that ever happen?

The last I remember seeing Tom Arnold was some bizarre interview he did after he had done all the coke.

It happened.

Nobody fucking liked it and it is well disregarded. And most of all, nobody fucking cares. It's such a bad show, it doesn't even have its own Wikipedia page.
I can't believe they actually went with this image for the show.

And what's with celebrities with severe TDS de-evolving into Michael Moore replicants?

Is this the final form of TDS?

Oh no. Tenacious D has dat TDS too? Where?

He made a, well I can't call it cartoon cause it's just vocals over still images he drew, show that no one picked up about Trump sperging that he released to YouTube.

I'm not shocked, ebonophile/pedophile celebrities hate Trump, and there was a hint of that with Jack Black in the early 2000s.

I want be :optimistic: and say he only talked about trump because connan asked but that comment at end of the other video comes out of nowhere.

They made some animated series which I haven't watched, but on a podcast with h3h3 they said that the plot is a dystopian future specifically because of Donald Trump and there was something about cutting off Donald Trump Jr's penis or something. Again, I haven't seen it, I just listened to the podcast in the background and they were talking about it.
