One of the hallmarks of Narcissistic and Borderline Personality Disorders is "splitting". What that is, is a sort of binary thinking in which the disordered sees people as all good or all evil, nothing in between--no nuance, no acceptance that nobody is perfect but nobody is without virtue--and the disordered's assessment can and will turn in an instant. This is what happens when mainstream media gets so biased that fucking BUZZFEED gets signal boosted to worldwide broadcasts.

My first thought when seeing the initial headlines was "Holy fuck... buzzfeed? Surely this won't go sideways in a day or so." and I wasn't wrong. Buzzfeed literally gleans it's stories from fucking Reddit and they knew good and well that if they published something with this equation:

(Trump+Muller+Russia) * (credible anonymous source + Orange man bad)

it would get picked up by the ravenous left who is convinced that this year will see Trump and Pence behind bars and Nancy Pelosi installed as the interim president. Everyone jumped on the story and now that Muller is basically "Uh... no..", they're turning their assholes inside out trying to figure out how to keep the narrative going.

This whole timeline is really the best political shitshow timeline America will ever see.
