More than likely its bitter Kumitards who don't want the announcers to say that Andy wins by default. But on Ralph's Twitter, they showed a ton of empty seats. Apparently the event was sold out. Its a fucking shame. Hopefully they make up some of that money.

EDIT:
Also Cog had a good point on his stream. If this had been Vegas or something where betting was a huge thing, Tonka would be buried in a hole in the desert for the cancellation and shit.

Nah. They'll allow it. They saw the sales they got from this (including the ones that were refunded). They're just gonna be REALLY fucking careful about who they book from now on. They'll be less tolerant of bullshit. They'll probably make sure people who have no prior fight experience have their shit in order way in advance.

I'm out of the loop on most internet drama but if I remember correctly the Logan Paul v. KSI thing got a lot of traction so there's definitely money in the realm of internet autistic bloodsports.

Yeah. Tim Loy flat out said the Paul v. KSI fight is what convinced him this was a good bet (that and, I'm sure, Larossa going to bat for it). And, again, they saw an appreciable increase in ticket sales from this.

However, he also said he ain't ever booking Donga again. LOL.

The crowd is small, bit it's amateur MMA. The comparing the crowd size to killroy is also a huge disservice. I imagine Andy's little bit is gonna probably sort of shock a lot of people there. I hope it goes well as yet another nail in the Donga coffin

Yeah I admit it is a disservice. As for Andy's speech, I rather hope its mostly modest with a good/non-autistic finisher so that he doesn't embarrass the organizers or himself.
