In a brief video from her campaign that was released on social media Monday morning at the same time she appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America," Harris called on her supporters to join with her to "claim our future."
"Justice. Decency. Equality. Freedom. Democracy. These aren't just words. They're the values we as Americans cherish. And they're all on the line now," Harris said in the video, teasing her official kickoff in her birthplace of Oakland next Sunday...

Running on the economy seems like a really hard sell when it's been doing gangbusters under Trump so far. I mean, you're right, that would be a hell of a lot better than whatever the fuck they're trying to do now, but I don't see how they could put together a platform that both appeals to anyone outside of the coasts, and doesn't boil down to being the Republican platform, but less so.

The net neutrality debacle is a big example of this.

Most people outside of CA aren't aware of Harris' tenure as a DA, and if they think she's their future the DNC/Media will absolutely cover that history up.
