Kamala Harris to run for president in 2020

(CNN)Kamala Harris announced Monday that she is running for president in 2020, arguing that the time has come to fight against what she views as the injustices of the past two years of the Trump presidency.

In a brief video from her campaign that was released on social media Monday morning at the same time she appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America," Harris called on her supporters to join with her to "claim our future."
"Justice. Decency. Equality. Freedom. Democracy. These aren't just words. They're the values we as Americans cherish. And they're all on the line now," Harris said in the video, teasing her official kickoff in her birthplace of Oakland next Sunday...

It continues, with the CNN article praising her. Gag me with a spoon!

Honestly, I could live with Tulsi.
We don't another retard from Pineappleland, especially a woman.

Speaking of which, when is that crazy Jap hag going to declare her candidacy? Her and Harris can bitchfight about who was a bigger, more disrespectful cunt to Justice Kavanaugh. She was born in Fukushima, but you know, that didn't stop Ted Cruz.

Nah, look at the republican field last time. The primaries and debates haven’t even started yet. That’s what they’re supposed to do, give people a chance to listen and pick the candidate they like best. Not just have the party leadership anoint somebody. If the GOP had their way Yeb! would’ve lost gracefully to Clinton.
The Republican system is less centralized. When there's a big clusterfuck it just ensures the strongest survives and goes on to the general. The Democrat system has the same lack of barrier of entry but the super delegates discard the strengths of a survival-of-the-fittest melée in the primary for the sake of consistency. So a crowded field for them has all the weaknesses and none of the strengths.

She was CA's AG right? Or whatever the state-level equivalent is in CA? That's about all I know about her. Seems like a dud of a candidate.

It's amazing they dont' realize a system set up to hand-pick THEIR preffered candidate as opposed to the popular one in the electorate's eye, will produce a, well, sub-par candidate when it comes to the numbers? They seem to believe that if powerful figures can be brought into line with them with backroom scheming, then the powerless proles at the ballot box simply MUST follow suit.

It's consistent with their ideology and world view, at least.

I am gonna stop you right there because she seems very divisive in the DNC among voters due to her association with cops and being married to a white man.

Every candidate is going to be divisive in the DNC/party because the DNC/party is fragmented and divided, though.

I know it’s really early but we’ve had a bunch of women announce they’re running for President and the media is freaking out over AOC tweets, trannies in the military, and some catholic/Indian drama on the national mall.

It’s like the media and twatter learned nothing from 2016.
No they learned and that is to censor everyone who disagrees!

Kamala has enough intersectional multipliers but she has been given multiple opportunities to make a name for herself during various hearings and fell flat every time. I suspect that she’s just going to run a rehashed version of Hillary’s campaign in 2016. The Democrats are intellectually bankrupt when it comes to ideas, except for open borders, which is deeply unpopular with the public, including Democrats themselves.

Hillary Clinton was the biggest liability for her own campaign.
Her arrogance, and all of the crowing about the certainty of her victory, was what kept the people she needed from going to the polls. Harris at the head of the same campaign wins.

Her greatest weakness is that she's from California. Even though she was a cunt during Kavanaugh, she was doing what her supporters want. She can't win the presidency and please California at the same time. It depends if she wants to settle for a long career in the Senate or make an all or nothing run at the presidency.

Harris at the head of the same campaign wins.

Time Travellin' Harris would have lost 2016 anyhow, because that campaign was fucked from nose to nuts. A total blind adherence to numbers from some weird tech bubble that completely ignored their own campaign coordinators, an insane amount of hubris, a willingness to ignore Bill's advice, and the slimiest feeling of corrupt sliminess ever in regards to the emails and speeches and an endless cavalcade of shit. I don't care if some kind of superteam of lawyers can prove in a court of law that Clinton never broke the law or ethical rules, to Nick and Nancy Normie everything she did was underhanded and immoral.

Harris has a similar issue, because she has a lot of baggage from her time as a prosecutor that maybe you can explain away over the course of a 50 page legal motion, but all the normies will see is that Harris kept an innocent man in jail for 4 years after the courts ordered him released. Or that she argued the state should be able to just steal your stuff without ever charging you. Or that we need longer sentences because the state needs to enslave people for their labor.

This situation combined with her arrogance means that she is going to try to deflect, prove her morality, or otherwise squirm out from under it in the most skeevy way. Which will only disgust people all the more.

They choose the candidate that will push through the legislation and whatever else the corporations and wealthy individuals want, and in exchange, they will pump billions into the campaign that will blitz the media and ensure the win. It's virtually fool proof.

Well......it was before everyone had the internet on their phones, now Facebook and Google have to cut down on "hate speech" right after the election, how coincidental! The internet has to be more like how the TV of yesteryear was, clean, filtered messages coming from your friendly corporate donors.
