I wonder if these people post on the period fetishists board on fetlife? Also, these women have to have Trump’s face on their crotch when they wear this. How is Trump getting “owned” by them exactly? This whole premise is messed up.

:optimistic: But I've always been on the belief that Trump and the shit that's surrounding him is what's really keeping Twitter afloat in the same way he's keeping these night talk shows and lamestream media firms that literally rely on ranting about his antics. If Trump were to entirely retire from the public's eye, all these people wouldn't know what the fuck to do since they dedicated their whole lives to him and now the spigot of all their material has run dry. Only that and all the scandals coming to a head on social media and other media firms is what will finally bring them down.

That's my half-baked prediction, at least

If Trump weren't tweeting, typos and shitposting and all, we wouldn't have the entertainment we do. Covfefe, hamberder... the media reaction to typos is absolutely hysterical and shows just how shit the media is.

Some days I'm pretty optimistic, but some days I doubt it. Once things get this pathological, I wonder if there's any coming back. If Trump goes, they will simply find another object of hate. And then another. I really think that this is Jungian Shadow type stuff, and the only way they can keep from facing that they have that darkness in themselves is to endlessly project it onto others. And the longer it goes, the less capable they'll ever be to address themselves. A massive endorphin addiction, and a junkie-like chase to attack to avoid feeling fear inside themselves. A lot could come back, but I think there are so many who are so far gone, there is no hope.

Looking at how long this shutdown is going on, it's pretty obvious the Democrats pandering to the TDS loons are hoping and praying Trump is gonna cave any day now. If he doesn't, the longer this drags on, the more they are gonna look bad when it finally ends.

But the hilarious part is that if the Democrats blink, the TDS sufferers will be calling for their blood, and unfortunately for any sane Democrats, their loony brethren are pandering to the TDS loons, so even if the Democrats try to concede and couch it in the terms of "we are not surrendering for the President, we are doing so because we cannot bear to see any more Americans suffer" or some similar face saving measure, they will still be eaten alive by the TDS lunatics.

However, given how things stand, the longer this drags out, the more the Democrats shoot themselves in the foot either way, either by further pissing off the actual voters or further driving the fanatics insane.

And as far we Kiwis are concerned, either way is going to be self perpetuating salt mine to our bemused benefit.

It wasn't even that long ago where they were trashing him for backing down on the wall. If anything, they've forced him to stonewall on the issue so they can't keep trying to convince his base he's not making good on his campaign promises. The celebrity rush makes it seem like everyone wants him to back down, the water cooler talk has been how stubborn democrats are being, coming from lifelong democrats. If DACA gets ass blasted in Trump's potential second term, they're gonna look back on this with regret, but they should be getting used to that by now.
