So, Chris Cuomo basically revived the whole "are you born in America," ordeal. He basically said that Kamala Harris needed to prove that she was born in the United States, on his tweeter account. But he has since apologized for his "remark." Of course, as a liberal he will say something that he honestly believes but will apologize and delete what he said.

Come on man, it's one thing to apologize for a wrong you made, but to go out of your way, to make sure that it doesn't exist is petty. Own your shit man!

A lot of people use Brett Kavanaugh as their example of the right having "heavy drinkers", but here's the thing that all the TDS-ers forget:

Kavanaugh didn't have a fucking criminal record when he was drinking, Nathan Phillips did. Boom.

Oh snap! The Dems got burned!

They never want to own their shit. Nine times out of ten, if someone's got their post history set private on Disqus? Proggy leftist type. They HATE having someone point out their inconsistencies.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...trump-for-shutdown/ar-BBSEhYC?ocid=spartanntp

Now there's a poll that states that 60% of all American's blame Trump for the shutdown.

Here's the thing. Don't people ever watch the news? Don't they ever read articles online? I'm going to say no. Cause if people did, they would know several things.

One, Pelosi stated that she refuse to negotiate at all. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...si-wont-let-democrats-negotiate-a-border-deal

Two, this shut down was in response to the Democrats not giving Trump 5.7 billion dollars for border security. https://globalnews.ca/news/4781526/donald-trump-border-wall-funding-shutdown/

Three, the for years the Democrats had stated that our borders needs to be secure. https://www.westernjournal.com/hillary-clinton-in-2006-secure-our-border-with-physical-barriers/

Do these things point to Donald Trump shutting down the government for the heck of it? NO! Trump stated that he would shut down the government UNLESS he got his border wall funding.https://www.irishexaminer.com/break...-us-government-closer-to-shutdown-893495.html

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/wh...vernment-months-or-even-years-schumer-n954856

I mean my god, can I not be any more clearer? The shutdown wasn't Trump's doing. It was the Democrats. Everything points to the Democrats being the dumbasses that they are, and refusing to tighten our border security. Hell, Obama even stated that a border wall would do us good. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/po...ts-embraced/QE7ieCBXjXVxO63pLMTe9O/story.html

Can this not paint a more clearer picture? Trump stated that he would build the wall, and this shut down is for that purpose. So I don't know about the rest of the country. But for one, like I have stated before, support this government shutdown. Cause we need stronger security for this country.

Why are you taking MSM polls seriously? The people who answer those are people who likely watch liberal news sources and are in states like NY and California

No kidding, one of the last poll articles I read about how "America is turning against Trump and nobody wants the wall" or whatever had some fine print at the bottom saying it had a sample size of roughly 800 people and was done in a heavily Democratic area.

Not misleading at all...

Trump could save puppies out of a burning house and TDS patients would STILL criticize him for that.

'He could've saved other cats when he did it. He must have something against cats.'

'One puppy that died in the fire was black. What does that tell us about our President?'

I'm not. Though I should have stated that. I meant to, but I was so engrossed in what I wanted to say that I forgot. But for the benefit of doubt, let's say for a moment that what MSN says is true.

That 60% of Americans do blame Trump for the shutdown. How come there isn't a march down at the White House? You would think that with 60% of the nation so upset about the shutdown, that there would be riots going on everywhere.

However, since that is not the case, the only reasonable explanation would be that the poll is lying. And if the poll is lying, why is it that they are really trying to push the lie that 60% of Americans are upset?

Conclusion. It's for the benefit of those who are non-educated. If the non-educated saw that and was like "Hey! This is True." They would be so upset, that they'll start to organize a rally to try and force Trump to reopen the government. Which I am predicting that something similar to that aspect will happen within the next week or two. And someone somewhere will quote that poll as a fact.

My political science teacher has found a way to weave the sentence “Americans don’t actually want the wall” into every single lecture this semester. I want to point out to him that these are the same polls that showed Clinton had a 99% chance of winning, but honestly I just care about my grade more.

While I understand where you are coming from, me personally I would point that out. Probably not in front of the entire class, maybe after class, just to get his reaction. But mostly I would ask him on what proof does he have that shows that the sentence "Americans don't actually want the wall" actually exist and not just because the main stream media "says so."

It's not like America elected a President whose front and center campaign promise was building the wall.

The truth is even if most Americans view Trump as responsible for the shutdown, it has no impact on them. Unless you are a Federal employee you have likely seen little effect save some absurd inconveniences. Like the Brewery that can’t get new beer labels approved by the government. Which begs the question why do we need the government approving beer labels?

That’s the real terror to the DC Corridoe. The government stopped paying them, and it in no way inconvenienced the folks out in flyover country. It’s starting to unnerve a lot of Dems.

People are also volunteering to do jobs that the government can't do right now like picking up garbage at national parks.

Also, people are marvelling at how much less traffic there is. Like how the fuck many government workers do we have on our highways at any given time if they're affecting traffic?
Typical rush hour traffic jams are not very severe. This is because people have a certain tolerance for slow traffic and where possible, will adjust their schedules, mode of transport, routes or choice of destinations to avoid excessively slow traffic jams. Just mundanely slow traffic is fine, though.

This means you don't have to reduce overall traffic volume by a lot to make the rush hour traffic jams disappear.

The newly sped-up traffic can however attract increased traffic volumes, restoring the balance of slow traffic once more.
