It's just so hard not to believe it isn't intentional. How can you have a little chat with your audience about not being able to make it to your meetings. (Doctors, over eaters anonymous, ect...) because of the weather conditions. Saying, more or less, that you are barricaded in your house against the crazy harsh insane weather then go on to post a video of you leaving the house walking about a science museum. You haven't posted a video of you leaving the house in ages and the one time you do it's preceded by you saying you couldn't make it to your appointments because of the weather. She says she's not trolling, but it's this kind of stuff that makes me very sus of all her actions. It just damn near purposeful to get a bad reaction only later to play the victim. It's just so intentional. I have trouble believe somebody can be that dimwitted or near sighted to not see how that those videos would play out next to each other and what kind of reaction it would illicit.

It’s hard to write pronunciations down without using a special keyboard, but I’ll try.

In American, Abhor is pronounced ehb-whore. The hor sounds like whore, only it’s a soft wh, more like just the h.

It’s the same in British only they drop the r.

Chantel proounces it ah-bore, with a hard b. She left out the w sound, and started the word with an ah instead of an eh, although that’s a subtle difference.

She’d clearly never heard it before.

Clickbait titles and headlines were made for people with no curiosity like Chantal who will not bother looking at things unless it is shocking and/or controversial. The type of person who would read Weekly World News religiously and believed that the stories of Bat Boy were real.

If the title of an article said that a group of scientists have finally conceived a magic pill for weight loss, she would immediately throw it in our faces even though the article would state that you need to follow some strict guidelines for the pill to work.

Don't know which one the original video is, but it must be from at least autumn 2018. Chantal has been cleansing herself of her own hair and nothing else.
ETA: might also be her hairline just sitting weird because of the fat on her neck and skull, idk. Doesn't look right either way.

She avoids medical care and has for the entire time she’s had a thread. There has been a few appointments she did go to and a couple of EMergency dept visits but for the most part she cancels her appointments because she can’t handle the truth. A doctor does not exist that would lie and tell her she is fine. Because she can’t be. You cannot weigh 400 pounds and be healthy. It is intentional because she can then blame her behavior on something else besides herself. That is something she has done for years. Dr Phil is a shitshow but one of his sayings fits here. You cannot change what you refuse to acknowledge.

I don't think too many OA members will put up with Chantal's shit for long. They don't want to hear about Grape Fasts and OMAD and quack doctors and shit, and they will tell her that directly. Her social awkwardness will make her think their objections are hostile and ignorant, but she'll be humbled. Then, she would leave, never to return.

The worst part of it would be that she can't truck out her usual "they don't like fat people" excuse for this one.

She went to OA years ago. It was in an old video. She kept griping about how she was so proud of herself for driving all the way there in the cold at night. I can't recall which video, but it's pretty old.

Meanwhile in Chantal's brain...

i remember that video but i don't remember any proof, i.e. footage of her walking in the meeting or such. that footage might as well been her nightly trip to arbys where she made up a story

I remember her talking about OA & showing herself driving in sleet/snow, so she felt so proud that she drove to the meeting in bad weather.
However, the footage of her driving there shows nothing about OA. Not the building, not a door, the coffeemaker, bathroom, meeting room -nothing. Of course no one expected her to take pictures of the people, but c'mon, in the comments they sure asked why she never took one picture to prove she actually attended a meeting.
It had to be sometime last Winter due to the weather, but winter is long in Canada.
Then when being called out in the comments, she made a big deal about watching OA videos on you-tube.

I was in the camp that she made it all up. She drove alright, but like you said, to Arby's.

that's what was weird to me. she filmed the most boring shit from random views on her monthly waddles, to random walks around the mall, and even ordering fast food in drive through, yet for some reason she didn't film a moment of such a big occasion?

if it was anyone else it wouldn't matter but since this is chantal i don't believe shit unless i see it.

Chantal would be the type to NOT film herself going to Mount Everest, the elusive ski trip or the long-awaited trip to Jamaica if she ever did those things. You know, things that would actually pull in good views, if only for the comedic intrigue of watching a fatass fall on their ass in public.

But then again, there was never a time where she was truly intending to do said intrepid activities in the first place. The best we'll get is her waddling around a children's museum.
