Here's an archive of Phil on his old THEKINOFHATEHD channel talking about how to donate to his Paypal (8:30 if timestamp doesn't work) with the bonus of telling his viewers to click on all the ads (8:10), which he still denies he ever did. Also debunks his claim that "nobody donated anything via that method either" when literally 10 seconds after advertising his Paypal (8:40) he says "I've gotten many, many donations." Amazing it's all in one convenient video.
Out of context, I'm sure, though. Phil, being the King of Semantics, will shift the argument to "I never advertised or talked about it on the Darksydephil channel, I only talked about it on THEKINGOFHATEHD channel, dood!" So he's still right and we're all still morons.
I know Phil is always full of shit all the time, but to pack so many contradictions into 30 seconds of raw, unedited kahntent is really impressive.

Its weird to think a major role in Phil's decline is his unwillingness to just be the butt of jokes and just role with his true salty self. He has essentially chosen to slowly strangle his career by being as uninteresting as possible in order to make sure he never does anything interesting. And yet he flails around confused as to why people don't watch his khantent. :stress:

Has anyone researched whether or not there's live wrasslin' on some- but not all- Sunday nights? I'm still wondering why he comes up with an excuse not to stream almost every Sunday night even though every excuse he uses (calling parents, paying bills, Patreon stuff) can be done any day he wants.

Had a little realization while doing tip counting just now. During his bullshit talkie session on the 24th, Phil said "every once in a while I throw a buck here or there for charity". This motherfucker is trying to count the "Will you give a dollar for [insert charity here]?" shit from the goddamn grocery store as some kind of significant giving to charity that justifies his lack of any actual charity fundraising while he makes six figures.

A dollar seems a bit generous, rather rounding up $15.97 to an even $16 at participating fast food outlets would be more accurate.

WWE pay per views are typically once a month on a Sunday. I don't think DSP watches any other promotions.

There was actually a rather lengthy PPV going on yesterday starting at 4pm PT and lasting until 9pm.

EDIT:
I cross-checked the WWE PPV dates with Dave's schedule from the last 3 months and he always took the evening off whenever there was a PPV on sunday.

Nov. the 2nd, being the exception because this PPV was broadcasted on a Friday.

Albeit, there are some days where he didn't stream sundays when no PPV was live, though.

WWE has a PPV on Sunday nights every 4 (sometimes 5) weeks. He doesn't watch any other promotion, so he probably just keeps his Sunday nights free for the chance there's a PPV. There was one last night, Royal Rumble, which is one of the Big 3 PPVs WWE has a year. It goes from 5pm-midnight EST (fucking ridiculous, I know). He suspiciously didn't tweet out anything leading up to, during or after the show.

RE: This is how you don't plays
They're dead because of oversaturation. It's like Guitar Hero, which was a good game but was a niche genre with 10 games a year released. people are making a TIHYDP for each single game he was playing and most of them don't deserve this treatment. The reason AJ's TIHYDPs for MGS were great is because he was fucking exceptional during those games. True authentic aspergers on full display there. Now we have 10 hour montages on him dying normally to a boss on DQ11 or something.
I'm of the belief that DSP isn't that bad at games. The guy just finished RE2 on Hardcore mode, how many of you all can do that? I can see the replies now, "Oh but he just brute forced his way through it! He just ran by everything! He got streamchat help!" That doesn't negate the fact that most people couldn't do it. DSP just is an asshole and people like to discredit assholes.

sure he beat hardcore mode.....in 18 fucking hours

as hard as hardcore can be,anybody can do it given time to master controls and shit
18 hours is excessive. most normal people beat it in 6-8 hours. and that is with pressing continue instead of load(time is not erased by added to total still)

Something pretty crazy happened today. My sibling is visiting my parents and no one paid for a rent a car nor a hotel Because they're sleeping at my parents house. Like...every normal family I know
he DESPERATELY wants to see them because he says its probably the last time he will see them alive.....but he doesnt care enough to fork up some money to pay for the trip himself

he probably guilt tripped his parents by saying that it might be the last chance to see them

How long did it take you to beat it?

I'll concede that a lot of TIHYDPs are dumb, especially now that a lot of lesser-talent people have started making them out of the newer playthroughs, which are all full of boring, unfunny cancer. But that statement, right up there?

C'mon, man.

Name a genre of game and I could point you to a playthrough or a decent TIHYDP that puts his ineptitude front and fucking center. Driving sim? Forza Horizon 3 or 4 (crime: laughable overuse of rewind). Sports sim? Madden 12 (crime: over 40 minutes quitting/replaying the same game after data loss due to a crash). Stealth action? The aforementioned MGS (crime: fucking pick one but I always loved not knowing how to bring up the item window despite mashing every button except the one that did it). Action? Castlevania: Lord of Shadows (crime: classic puzzle brute-forcing and failure to recognize simple boss patterns). Fighting? Dragon Ball FighterZ (crime: "much online rushdown cahmboes!"). Action RPG? How about literally every attempt at Soulsborne (crime: again, pick one, but how about completely ignoring story and lore to the point that it harms his gameplay)? FPS? The new DOOM (crime: utter lack of situational awareness, refusal to explore maps). Survival horror? Resident Evil 3 (crime: chronic overuse of limited resources). A lot of these are arguably video game basics for their respective genres.

Game devs don't make their titles fucking impossible to beat at high difficulties; if they did people wouldn't play them. It might take more of an effort to beat them on the highest setting, more so than many people might be willing to invest in a hobby/leisure activity, but you don't need to be fucking FaZe Clan to do it. A loved one of mine almost exclusively plays turn-based RPGs and they beat the Mass Effect trilogy on Insanity. I was impressed because I'm a fucking spaz but it wasn't a Herculean effort by any stretch.

Plus Phil's beaten what, maybe a half-dozen games on the hardest difficulty? I can only think of REmake (EDIT: it was RE0, my bad), RE2make and Dead Space 2, and that last one was a technicality I guess because he didn't choose the setting that limited his saves. Compare that to his laughable record of ragequits. Doesn't look too stellar, does it?

EDIT: syntax and spelling

The guy has beaten RE2, Cuphead, every From Software game 5 times over and every GTA game 5 times over. I'm just saying people want to act like he's the most incompetent gamer in the world, but I just think he's an average gamer who puts himself out there and people give him shit for not playing perfect no-hit runs his first time through. It happens to every streamer honestly, I've seen good gamers miss an item and the whole chat gets flooded with "BLIND!" "YOU'RE SO FUCKING BLIND OMGWTF" "YOU FUCKING DUMBASS ITS RIGHT THERE".
Everybody fucks up in games, but DSP has the privilege of fucking up in front of hundreds/thousands of people who are actively looking for him to fuck up.

Pig's only ever been competent at fighting games and to a limited degree platformers honestly.

Racing games? He crashes into everything and thinks driving down the wrong lane should count for him when dealing with traffic. This also includes driving segments in sandbox games. Shooters? He believes spray and pray for auto-aim means that everyone should die and refuses to get that shots are weighted based on location. This delusional manbaby thinks five shots to the foot and air should equal the damage to five shots to the head and heart. RPGs? Refuses to grind or grok the mechanics, bitches when he dies; failing that reads the guides and relies on his Pigcult to tell him how to win. Puzzles? "Uhhh dunno what to do here! *reads chat nervously*".

Even then, he's only okay at the two genres I mentioned. Dave cannot read the fight and relies on combos and cheese to win nowadays in fighting games, and he still is bad at timing and puzzles for platforming.

He just plain sucks, and any credit to him beating Hardcore goes to his retarded Pigcult for wasting dollars to help a baby play a remake. And the Dark Souls wins? He beat them due to fans helping him, ranging from telling him where to get the best weapons, to downright joining him to take down the ending parts in the first run of Dark Souls. Don't forget to mention how he abused lighting attacks in 2, and cheated his way to getting an evaluation copy for 3 and desperately rush-finishing it, which was easier until release happened.

It's not his skill level that's the issue (though he is mediocre at best), it's the fact that he refuses to pay attention to or learn from anything in an attempt to rush through the game, and that he relies on his chat almost exclusively to beat the game. Getting help in a part when you're stuck isn't a problem, but his playthroughs have been likened to a Twitch Play recently because of that.
