It's the smallest of improvements and he really should've realized this before the age of 30, but progress is progress. This is a shockingly lucid thing for Eevee to say. As much as I’d like to see it continue, he’s still a degenerative asshole and it’s going to take a lot for him to even begin to be redeemable. (Though, was there ever any proof of him actively grooming minors or fucking animals? That’s at least a step up, even if it’s marginal.)
