He survives because he's completely willing to shred his dignity live on stream every single day. How many people reading this can honestly say they'd go every day for literally years begging for spare change, or by using elderly parents to milk money from people, or your partners' mental health conditions, and so on. At some point we'd all give up and get a job or something. You make your own luck, and Phil used his dignity to make his. Eventually that well will run dry for him, but Phil's hope is that by then he'll have accumulated enough shitposted videos on Youtube that he can live comfortably off the residual income for his retirement.

The problem is he has no contingency plan for when things go wrong. If he's ever in a car accident, or gets burgled, or knocks Kat up, he's fucked. He already treats taxes as some completely unforeseen bill that's on top of his normal bills, so it'll probably all end badly for him.

I would absolutely gawk at Phil lose his mind on a daily basis dealing with a pregnant significant other and subsequent child. It'll be like Twitch Plays The Phil Burnell, Jr. Raising Project.

I see no way Phil makes it to retirement age, but he's too pain averse and narcissistic to commit suicide, even if its painless and instant. Maybe he'd down a ton of painkiller/sleep meds and wash it down with gin, but I doubt it.

Not that Phil wouldn't be capable of killing himself. If his diet and lifestyle don't kill him, Phil is the kind of idiot to win a Darwin.

This is a point worth reiterating every time he demands more money. Can anyone name any serious financial cutbacks he's made? The only thing that comes to mind is dropping PSVue, which was $50 per month. Aside from that, Mr. I need $16k doesn't seem to have changed anything else.
