The things Parliament are looking for are more related to video game addiction and loot box related issues I think, rather than the "Video games cause violence" censorship. But they are jumping the gun and of course just bitching about the UK again, even when it's not justified in this case.

While the title could be clickbait, it won't be surprising they wouldn't watch the video, especially when Larry's schtick is covering all he can find with video games.
More so when it turns out Larry isn't going on any high horse and pointed out why Activision axed it due to some previous games with women bombing terribly.

I saw the video and the reason for the cancellation was financially motivated.
If Black Lotus was developed today, I can see it being a commercial and critical success.
- At the time of Black Lotus's development, there were several games released with female protagonist there were critical and commercial failures. The fact they all have a female protagonist was just an unfortunate coincidence.
- Activision does not like to take risk and usually copy successful IPs. Example: Call of Duty is copied from Medal of Honor, Guitar Hero is copied from the arcade game Guitar Freaks.
If Black Lotus was developed today, I can see it being a commercial and critical success.

At this point, with how KiA keeps sperging over stupid shit, regretting interest in GG or even looking back at is not/not just a coming of age, it's also letting one know that even after 5 years since the tism began, KiA still can't move on from it just like the spergs on the other side and the articles that keep making GG sound like some evil group of terror and not an incident of tards on both sides thinking the other was a truly dangerous group.
Pretty much nailed what Larry said. Activision, like any other company, cares about making a profit. Any lip service to gamer spergs or nods to SJ spergs is just a means for Activision to try and make money off the group they're trying to sell to. Beyond some intern that's either a neckbeard or soyboy caring about anything related to this, the rest of Activision just wants to turn up a gain in their profit. Cancelling a game because women protagonist would sound exceptional as reason to cancel and exceptional to complain about but at this point, one should realize Activision puts profit up first and is a wait and see sort of company with the market.

I swear, KiA is like your local Kmart--it's pretty decent as a time machine that helps you see what things were like half a decade ago, but at the same time it's an old, rusty, worn-down piece of shit that should have been demolished years ago.
