BTW, you'll all be happy to learn that this documentary really turned a spotlight on NAMBLA and fucked them in the end.

Obviously, the roaches scattered though.

One small thing I noticed, it's really interesting that the movie's wikipage mentions Allen Ginsburg, leftist poet and activist, as an active member of NAMBLA who appears in the the movie ("Poet and free speech advocate Allen Ginsberg, NAMBLA's most famous member and defender, appears in the documentary and reads a "graphic ode to youth"."). But if you go to the guy's own page, the fact he was a proud pedophile is buried in the nosebleed section, (it's in the 19th section).

To be fair, they probably had to bump that tidbit so they could put the fact that "He lived modestly, buying his clothing in second-hand stores and residing in downscale apartments in New York's East Village." in the front page summary, gotta get those priorities in order...

The plan was to get the Guardian to make it public, but the Guardian chose King of Pol as the avenue and Bryan decided to act like a sped and post it before Kraut was ready.
Also, I don't think most people view the gayops as this highly organized bullshit, I think the prevailing view is that its a bunch of incompetent lefty nutbags and weirdo skeptics that do stupid shit on discord servers. The gayops thing gets played up because they never seem to stop and take this shit way too seriously.

If these gay ops were highly organized and effective, they'd just be ops

Too many.

In some respects, breaking the back of NAMBLA might have been a mistake. Having these pedos on the membership rolls of an actual organization probably made it easier to keep tabs on them.

One thing that's especially important to note is that NAMBLA and its members were at the forefront of the modern gay rights/sexual liberation movement. When NAMBLA was broken, they all formed smaller groups to advocate for pedophilia on the down-low by normalizing child abuse (transgenderism in boys) and homosexuality. Once those were normalized, they came back out of the shadows because it made their own behavior more palatable to people.

I'm watching to catch a predator for the first time. I just can't believe the number of guys, from all over mind you, going happily with their dicks in their hand to fuck children. I knew they were present in droves on the Internet, but I didn't fathom there would be that many of them acting out.
Poor kids.

Chris Hansen's show actually got canceled because they exposed a county-level Democrat politician in one of their episodes.

They didn't normalize pedophilia. There's a lot of dumb shit that has been normalized or semi-normalized, but pedophilia is thankfully still reviled in the mainstream.

If they tried to do NAMBLA today, it would still be pounded into the ground.

Hell, the woman who fought tooth and nail for Amos Yee to be granted asylum in the US actually wants him deported now. He's been banned from every major social media platform and crowdfunding source. That's a rare response you usually see reserved for alt-right figures (or those labeled as such).

So I'm watching Metokur's commentary on the NAMBLA documentary & I have to ask, does that pedophile really believe the delusional shit he's saying to the camera, is it just lip service to make himself look good or is he trying to convince himself he's not a monster? Deciphering him is like trying to untangle Christmas lights.

All of the above.

They were being honest and thought that this documentary was gonna make them look good. Mainly because the director came at this with an entirely non-judgmental and disarming approach that allowed them drop their guard and be perfectly candid.

It was actually a pretty simple, if not ingenious, way of destroying them.

There's this gem from Wikipedia:

In this New York Newsday review, the reviewer addressed the controversy: "To say Sideman has taken a hands-off position is a horrific pun, but it's also true, and wise. It would have been too easy to become strident, had he set out to make an agitprop piece about the evils of pedophilia. So he lets NAMBLA bury itself. And the organization obliges."

Since its release, the film has gone on to screen for psychology, sociology, and criminology departments throughout the USA and has also been screened for the FBI.
Citations omitted.

It destroyed them even more than chimping out about pedos like any thread here that mentions them. They sentenced themselves with their own words.

NAMBLA never really recovered as a real thing.

It's proof that the SJW philosophy that some opinions are so vile that you have to suppress their expression is bullshit. The reasoning is because while the opinions are utterly vile they somehow are so completely convincing that if you did not ban them people would suddenly all turn into Nazis or pedophiles or whatever.

The reaction to this showed the exact opposite is true. Some repellent ideas actually thrive when suppressed but die in sunlight.

Milo mentioned this with regards to Nick Griffin back at that one college meetup with Steven Crowder and some other person I forget. This was before Milo revealed he was a pedophile to everyone while he wasn't fully deplatformed and got effed for it, of course.

I think a key distinction is that we exist primarily to make fun of them. We're not really an autistic illuminati hit squad. If somebody gets utterly ruined, that's incidental to the personal catharsis we get from commenting on the parade of horrors we witness.

Adi Sideman, I'm almost positive, wanted to fucking destroy them. And not in a dumb spergy way. In a cold, calculated, and intelligent way. He's somewhat coy about this, but makes mention of the fact he was molested by a pedo when he was 8-years-old and it was "not a good experience."

There's a 34 minute Q&A with him if anybody is interested:

So, basically, Ginsberg was a proto-Amos Yee. To paraphrase Jim himself, if Ginsberg was sincere in his support for NAMBLA, he was an idiot; if this was somehow a from of gay ops to own straight society, he was still an idiot.
