I realize this is somewhat offtopic, but I'd like to comment on a really lovely thing pengosolvent manages to do in their comics, particularily Murder Misery (my personal favorite) that glip completely fails at.

Spoiler: interesting panel layouts

in these examples pengo uses an unconventional panel structure effectively to denote hierarchies between the two characters and their personality without affecting the readability of the piece, it's an incredibly clever and effective way of story-telling that goes beyond clever dialogue and pictures, I adore it.

I really do not need to post an example of glip's shitty attempts at alternate panel structure, but I will say that it manages to look both unintentional and rigidly unimaginative. The regular beats of a traditional panel structure are kept (which have a varying degree of effectiveness) but whenever glip attempts their hand at going outside the box it looks amateurish. there is no rhythm to the panels. the gutter between panels is arbitrarily adorned while adding no value to the narrative (lol "narrative"). Pages are unnecessarily cluttered and uncomfortable to read through and even if you argue that that is the intention (especially when it comes to panels depicting angels) the shit readability of the piece completely robs any tension the chaotic panelling would give it when you have to look back and reread dialogues over and over.

Is that why they're sticking to videos now? Hard to suck at readability when you're putting blinders on your audience and telling them what to read and when.

As I mentioned, I've been concerned about glip since I first became a fan and found this thread. I just wanted to ignore it for the longest time, but I don't think I can anymore.

I'd start by asking about the pile of NSFW minor porn from this site, with archives from their old nsfw Tumblr. Glip said they did it to cope, but if that's the case, why are so many comments on them to the tune of "omg that's so hot"?

Broadly, I'm interested in how Glip treats their friends personally - have you had a good experience with Glip as a friend gone awry? Have you noticed various bad tendencies that tend to be red flags, or did you have no indication of their past/current behavior? I suppose stealing your ideas is one indication, but I'm just interested in their manipulation patterns to concretely identify them in the future.

How does Glip try to explain consistent testimony and evidence, especially the gross archived art? With the latter, do they get mad at you if you bring it up because it's "just kink?" (like with the gross baby kangaskhan porn, cub stuff, etc.?)

glip is... super intense. I've seen people get hurt by just how intense they are. You've seen the recent updates. Imagine talking to someone like that.

As for the testimony and archived art, it's obviously not a common subject of conversation. I need to get more familiar with the testimony, honestly, I've seen bits and pieces but not how it all fits together. That's something I plan on doing, and could definitely use help with here and there.

@Catastrophe-TM and I are working on combing every archived link and evidence that have been posted here. it is still on the rough but we're getting there, if you have anything to contribute that would be awesome.

I'm not ready to share anything private. Obviously, if I had any kind of smoking gun against glip, I would share it, but what I have access to is nothing like that. I want to focus on what's public for now, to confront what's already out there.

Thanks for the advice. Don't worry -- when I confront glip about this, it's going to be as public as I can make it. I want to make sure no one can deny anything that was said. And if things go as planned, it won't make any difference at all whether glip reads about what I have in mind here. And not being able to censor my name is fine. You might want to use DMs for any more discussion on how to approach a confrontation. PK and Eevee read this thread and I can’t help but think they’ll see this and cut off communication the moment you start asking questions.

There's a rumor that glip and eevee have tried therapy, but both of them stopped going. It was brought up early in this thread. Do you know if this is true? Have any of glip's friends expressed concerns about their mental health?

I’ve been observing the Glip drama on the side for awhile, and I finally made an account. I’ve had some experiences but they've been for the most part secondhand, aside from when she considered me annoying enough to vague tweet about once.

The first was back when a friend asked me by proxy of Pengo for legal advice about the lawsuit—this was when people weren’t sure if it was real or just a threat to try and silence him, and Pengo didn't know either.

I was doubtful about it at first, simply because pursuing any sort of legal case can burn a hole in your wallet, and a lot of courts still have outdated views about internet defamation specifically, so I didn’t know how serious they would take it considering Glip wasn’t a highly known political figure or the like being slandered in front of the news.

I actually made a post about how Glip pursuing legal action could be null, and Eevee replied to it multiple times trying to argue with me about how he was actually right because...he googled big legal words, I guess. I didn’t even know he was Glip’s boyfriend at the time, I just thought he was an incredibly obnoxious white knight (same difference?) and Glip made a passive aggressive tweet about me not long after. I forget the exact details, something about those crazy liars on the internet thinking they know big law stuff.

I ended up deleting the post out of respect for Pengo, who just wanted to be done with the whole thing and didn't want anyone else to fan the flames-and who could blame him?

My only other experience with Glip was seeing her and Marl at a convention years ago. I'm sure this sentiment has already been echoed, but they look like disgusting piles of sludge in public. You want to take a shower in boiling water after just looking at them.

Like it's amusing how she and Eevee claim screencaps are edited, and yet PK edited these ones to not reveal who Lain was but revealed who jupiterdune was in separate docs (when jupiterdune was gonna post up the screencaps and only censor her name.)

This contradiction would also be a thing to bring up, along with why she drew her Kecleon self-insert getting fucked by a self-insert of her cat and a self-insert of her sister fucking if that's "coping".

I think the fact that she hasn’t addressed why the allegations are consistent between Pengo, lain bigfluff etc is the biggest elephant in the room.

Even if you ignore the evidence that they actually did know about the accusations against Marl as far back as 2014 - when it was finally confirmed to them that yes, the logs were real, would the reaction of any sane person not be a completely horrified "Holy shit, we allowed these things to happen and defended the person doing them, we should take some time to seriously consider all of the assumptions we've made and above all sincerely apologize to the victims we've insulted and accused of being liars"

Actually it does notice that she have always had a clear preference for Eevee over Marl, not only in sex but also emotionally speaking, she seems more attached to him and seems to overall engage better with him that what he did with marl, even Marl stated the same several times on how he felt some sort of jealousy towards glip's preference for eevee and how she admired him. (I still don't understand how can anyone admire or be impressed at all by eevee, but I don't understand glip as a whole, so there's that...)
