glip still believes lain is this "spaggle" (am i getting that right?) person, someone that they were warned about via and email and/or a deviantart note conversation, since it lined up around the same time. thats all i know. i have no reason to disblieve it because glip has never lied to me, as far as im able to tell.

The reason to disbelieve Glip is because Lain said Marl was into zoophila and specifically into dogs publicly well before multiple people, (Pengo, Kawa, Fluff and even Marl himself) said that Marl was into Zoo. There is also the fact the logs are dated in 2012, and contain similar aspects as to what Lain claimed happened in 2014.
The bottom line is, since Lain came forward before anyone else, and there are witnesses with collaborating stories of what Marl was into, in addition to an admission of guilt from Marl himself, it confirms Lain's story from 2014. If Lain made up the story that Marl approached her with pedophilic and zoophilic intentions, it would be very unlikely for others to collaborate it.
If Glip was correct and Lain is lying, it would have been impossible for Lain to correctly guess that Marl was into zoophilia, specifically into dogs, before other people started talking about it.

I think you also have to be aware that PK has a pattern of lying and being an unreliable narrator. Like Callie showed, she lied about not having an underage person in the house for example. This underage person also accidentally saw PK nude and PK commented to Marl how she found this person 'cool'.
my main issue is that i simply dont believe those screenshots of marl talking to people, the black text on the white background. it just seems really, really easy to me to replicate something like that given the plain appearance.
As for those screenshots, as stated earlier they are reflective of how 2012 GChat looked.
There is also the fact that Marl apologized when confronted with them, and went on to ask "What do you want" as if he thought he was being blackmailed. I really want to empathsize here that if you are confronted with chat logs of you trying to talk a minor into making dog porn, and you are innocent- "Sorry, what do you want" is
not a normal reaction. Nor is saying "I know who they are and I'm sorry" and walking back and saying "fake" immediately when the person who presented the logs said they did not want anything.
Marl then admitted in his official letter later that he is into zoophila.

They claim that the logs are edited, but with all the evidence provided that there is some truth to them, and that Glip has gone on the record with lies. (Specifically stating that Lain is a liar when she is proven not to be by collaborating witnesses and the claim that Fluff was never in her home)
We also need to keep in mind that Fluff herself, has more then proven her actual connection to Marl. Not only did Eevee say she was in the home with them, but Fluff had a picture of Marl that was never posted online in 2016.

I was suspicious of the logs myself at first. But the fact they're from someone with a confirmed relationship with Marl. Marls own behavior in response to them. The collaborating witnesses of Marls behavior in Lain, Pengo and Kawa. Marls own admission of guilt with zoophila? The refusal to bring up proof that these chat logs are edited? The hostility towards Lain, a victim of the same thing as Fluff?
These things cannot be faked. These things support the logs being real.
