This situation could go either way, but the fact that Jani was locked in her room during the 'attack' speaks volumes.

Bohdi being tormented and harassed into reacting to Batshit and The Creep... while his big sister is unable to help him... it sends a chill down my spine. How devious and wicked can two idiots be?

I doubt that the ER doctors will give Bohdi any drugs, BUT the fact that Batshit has so quickly escalated things is concerning as hell.
Some people on here might have been joking a bit when they suggested that she might toss Bohdi off of a balcony or drown him in the tub... but I think she might try it. I really do. If push comes to shove, no way she'll give up her unfortunate offspring. They're everything to her.

Without those poor kids she's got no sympathy, no state money, no attention. Nothing.
And if she keeps pulling this sort of shit, eventually those kids will get taken from her. If they live long enough. If she let's them live.

I'm thinking Jani was locked in her room so she wouldn't be a witness, either to say Susan and Cory were goading Bohdi or to rat them out if they were lying.

This got me too. Knowing and having seen how protective and loyal Jani is of and towards her brother, I can't imagine what was going through her mind during that hour, or what she's feeling now. And she can't even call essentially her only friend, her dad, to talk about it. That has to be deliberate, which just occurred to me. 'Punishing' J by taking her phone for talking about her meds/enuresis was an excuse. They knew this was coming and didn't want her to have a line of communication when it did.

But considering her recent behavior and new status as a Kaiser ER frequent flyer, she's probably not getting anything and it's going to infuriate her.
A lot of people say that MBP cases typically end either when the parent gets caught or the child dies (or, in Gypsy Rose Blanchard's case, the parent is murdered). No one wants to see that ending here. I'm scared for Bodhi, too, and I'm scared for Jani. I want to tell myself that Susan may be an idiot, she may be a liar, manipulative, selfish, she may be a lot of things, but not a murderer. But honestly? Her instability has blatantly been escalating even from what we are able to see from public Facebook posts and information given by Leaks. I don't understand how DCFS can be dragging their feet on this case while seeing her psychological state in person, such as at this week's IEP. Her admittance in the ER, on medical records to a medical professional, of giving a child in the midst of a psychiatrist ordered med wash at least one dose of Benadryl and one of Ativan while under DCFS monitoring ought to have been enough to cause removal of both children, full stop. If anything happens tonight or in the coming days, DCFS is liable for inaction.

It doesn't matter who the leaks are as long as the mods verified them. Trust the mods, and trust the leaks. Do not interfere, let them do what they will and give us information as they see appropriate. Speculation as to their identities/shouting at them to do something helps no one. We are here to give them a platform to spread information about the Schofields/their bullshit visibly.

To extrapolate on this point further, Susan is a manic who manages to run with thoughts from almost nothing at all to start with, and we also know (or strongly suspect) that she (And Cory) read this thread. Even suggesting that KF user 'X' is in fact person 'Y' would probably start her on a fresh manic episode against those people, which would just bring more grief for all parties involved, and is especially concerning given we know that Susie is already attempting to sabotage Jani and Michael's relationship.

I generally try and think when reading this thread "maybe not, maybe that's not how it happened". Question everything but, genuinely, if Bodhi did 'attack' Susan I'd say it was due to his coming off of meds, sensory overload and Susan being his face like she was doing in the last video hoping he'd act psychotic for the camera to prove the meds need to return. She's raging people in the comments are saying how well he looks and happy he appears (whether or not he actually is has been discussed here regarding withdrawal). Her autistic child is acting low functioning autistic and she hates it. She wants the quiet, watching videos on the ipad, in bed at 6pm Bodhi.
Imagine working at that ER and this crazy bitch comes in AGAIN with her waine screaming he attacked her (unless she's bleeding from the fucking head MAYBE it'd be ok). How is no one flagging this up? She's clearly requesting some form of medication to 'help' him sleep or calm down. I dont get how it's being overlooked. In that Louis Theroux documentary about autistic kids there's a mother whose quite large child attacks her and it's horrific. She didn't run to ER because it's not something the ER deals with lol. Wasting people's time Susan because you're running out of time.

At this point, I'm morbidly curious just how much obvious shit she can pull before somebody finally steps in. On the plus side, there must be at least a dozen doctors from the past two weeks who can testify that the boy is now slow as molasses, and never seen moving faster than a snail's pace.

I agree with many of you, if the "attack" did happen, it was due probably to withdrawal, over stimulation, frustration (let's be honest who would be frustrated with that bitch on your face 24/7?).
But i do bet Susan will try to put it as "he was in a psychotic state" (if she could get away with jani "i'm gonna cut my wrist"). Do you need to be in a pscyho state to "attack" someone so annoying now that you've gained back a little consciousness? Of course not, he may be behind some years, but he's a pre-teen now.
I still don't buy all of this attack thing, maybe he slapped her (maybe) and she just locked Jani in her bedroom and made the huge scandal we know she loves.

I honestly can't decide if Amy is brave and has true faith in the changes Michael has made post-Susan or if she doesn't know what she's getting into. She's having a baby with a man who admitted, in a New York Times bestseller, that he shook his crying infant, and later in the same book admitted to speeding down the road with that infant, now 5 years old, screaming in the front seat hoping to crash and die together, before arriving home and swallowing half a bottle of antidepressants within the child's view.

That's gotta be a hell of a lot of personal changes made in not that much time.

Amy is "Mia" in Susan's book, right? Susan is obviously an unreliable narrator, but I was left wondering about a woman who was considering giving up custody of her child to be with Michael. Leaving her kid behind, travelling impulsively with no money. I don't want to go doxing peripheral characters from this sordid story, but I sure am curious about the kind of person who would put up with Michael.

I know we're all hoping for him to save the kids, but I remember how much I disliked him from reading his blog. I don't know that he's equipped to parent at all. The best help he could give would be to find residential care for them.

I've been re-reading the old gomiblog and someone said they believed the kids must have schizophrenia because the hospital kept them admitted so long. But I wonder if hospital personnel knew just how much this was the parents, saw how much the kids liked the hospital, and kept them there to give them a reprieve from the parents.

Edit: Does anyone know if the Dr Phil episode is available anywhere? (I don't mind paying for it, but also have no moral qualms about pirated.)

I’m fairly sure there are various snippets on Dr Phil’s official YouTube channel. I can’t remember any specific titles, but atleast one had Phil cooking with Jani.

Speaking of Dr Phil, I’m surprised no one close to the Schofield/Cabanas has tipped him off to the state of this case. He seems to do a lot of abused and undisciplined children storylines; you’d think this was perfect for the show.
And as much as it would suck to force the kids into the spotlight again, atleast it might get CPS to do something.

Well, in the facebook interview to Michael on Youtube, he says that he tried to get in contact with Dr Phil show again, but the story doesn't seem amusing to the producers anymore apparently, he states that he will continue trying but seems like a dead end

Addition: Like everyone, I agree that Michael's a vain ass for going to VT to get his motherfucking artist (MFA) degree. But also want to point out it's highly unlikely that he's paying that 25k out-of-pocket. He's probably getting the student loans which the Federal government makes it very, very easy to qualify for. You basically need a pulse and proof of enrollment, and they'll "give" you all the monies for tuition & educational expenses. Just because he's spending 25k on school (via the Dept of Education's loans) doesn't mean he'd have the 25k accessible to spend on his kids if he wasn't getting that useless MFA.

You're missing the point, though. Michael has no issue taking out loans upwards of $50-60k, if he's also putting flights to Vermont into his loans, rather than using a credit card or work two jobs to save up $1000 to fly to California and stay for a week or two somewhere cheap.

MFA Creative Writing degrees ARE vanity degrees. They have little to no return on investment. It's not like he's getting an MBA or going back to school for a teaching credential or second BA in a useful field. The likelihood of someone with an MFA making enough to make the debt from their degree worthwhile is one in a million.

Also, having gone to grad school paying my own way and with loans, the federal loan system you talk about is limited in the amount dispersed (like $5k a semester for most). It's likely that over half of Michael's degree is funded via the more high interest "private" loans dispersed by Navient. You still "get" them through FAFSA, but they are not the super low interest Perkins loans or Stafford loans.

Finally, when you take out student loans, you have to start paying them back right after you graduate. Even when I wasn't making a ton of money, I still had still pay SOMETHING. Good luck, Michael. If you think $100 Spirit Airline flights or $50 Greyhound tickets are a splurge, you are gonna love those $300-500+/month Navient bills!
