Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I can't imagine the cognitive dissonance some people would have to support meeting with a nation directly responsible for thousands of your own dead citizens in a nation directly responsible for thousands of your own dead citizens. I might seem like I'm shitposting, but that genuinely pisses me off.

We make peace with our enemies. Making peace with our friends is rather redundant.

If that's how you see it, then we might as well never had good relations with Japan and Germany and helped rebuild them, no? Just because war makes two countries enemies, doesn't mean they can't be friends in due time. France and England despised each other for centuries but are now allies, except in football but that's the norm.
Of note, Vietnam is a staunch ally of America now, funny enough. They hate China that much that they are more willing to let the American pigs who tore up their country be friends; friends with benefits more or less, but it's better than hating each other.

FYI, Ho Chi Minh wanted to be on America's good side before we entered the war but policy (Containment) overruled his extended hand and a we took over where the French left. Things would be different if we told the French to go away like we did in Suez and prop him up. An entirely pointless war would've been avoided.

They will be never be our friends they threatened to nuke us. If Hillary did this you would all be complaining.
No, Kim threatened to nuke us. That's the key part here. Get rid of him and things change. NK as a whole is a non-threat to everyone except South Korea. And nuking us would be the worst mistake he'd ever make because not even China would back such a move.

It is true.

Things are getting interesting.

The freakout reactions to that tweet are hilarious as shit.

Trump is getting called racist for calling Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas", ignoring the fact he mocking her for falsely LARPing as an Indian.

It's not racism if she really isn't a Native American and he's just pointing that out, and the idiots screeching on Twitter don't seem to realize the "racism" card just doesn't work on their opponents anymore because they declared so many damn things the Republicans do, breathing included, to be racist, that the average voter is sick of hearing them bitch. Conversely, every time a Democrat falls afoul of their own standards, they have to eat each other by their own definitions of what's racist.

I hope they keep wearing out this obviously failed tactic, the only people it really hurts long term is their own.

I watched the Warren rally today, and it was pretty flat. The crowd seemed to run the whole gamut, from fat women and ugly women, to fat and ugly women. It was unintentionally funny because one woman with a very loud and very shrill voice decided that what the rally really needed was more audience participation. At one point she was yelling something after almost every sentence Warren spoke.

I cannot wait to see how Liz handles it when some BLM women hop onstage and start twerking.

It's called "Diplomacy", and it's straight up lunacy to decide the current government of a nation is to blame for a war that was over before anyone currently running said government were even born, guilt-by-blood-relation is illogical. So is guilt-by-past-actions-of-state.

By that non-logic, the US shoulda hung the UK out to dry in WW2 because we lost a lot of minutemen to the redcoats.....

You cannot punish a nation in perpetuity, if those who ordered Pearl Harbor have all died, you cannot designate a surrogate, based only on ethnicity and nationality, to assume their guilt. That is totally unfair.

Responsibility for actions dies with the actors themselves. Full stop.

Oh, and both those wars ended with formal treaties..... signed by us, which pretty much consigns the battle casualties to the "sunk costs" pile, at least as far as realpolitik goes.

Except the government we were at war with is still in power and poses a direct threat to regional allies.

My friend, I see that you are a man of unrivalled intellectual sophistication. Obviously, you have thought this issue through very carefully, diligently, and are bursting to tell us what your idea is of a proper approach to neutralizing this threat.

Please do, by all means, describe what you believe America's plan should be in handling North Korea, and why it would be more effective than the current one.
