I know I'm very late to thank Kelli for her personal story, but I would like to do it, because I was very moved by her history of abuse and neglect at the hands of Cory Cabana.
It explains a lot imho, especially the fact he feels/felt so sure about DCFS doing nothing, and being easily swayed into whatever lie he will tell them.
I was one who didn't get a pedophile vibe from him, just a vibe of a run-of-the-mill abuser with nasty temper. However, I didn't suspect him of such blatant and systemic abuse like not buying food for his teenage daughter, or being physically violent to her. The story about Stacey is also very disturbing, and it convinces me that Cory is a pure sociopath.
About upcoming Dr Phil show I personally wonder what Dr. Phil's studio make-up artists are capable to do out of our Bootiful Woman (aka Swamp Hag). We all know that time was not kind to her, and she is not Dorian Grey. Even if she would somehow muster control over her screechy voice and said only sane and wholesome things, let's not forget she LOOKS INSANE.
I can't wait for Dr. Phil show to be aired, and I truly hope that it will put the end to this shitshow. This shitshow was going on way too long.
