Yes they can totally kick ass. Like that time when some rando from CA threatened a female reviewer and Doug and his brother took it upon themselves to protect her... by hiding her in a shed in their garden and standing guard armed with katanas. Instead of calling the police.
Such badasses.

Also apparently tropers consider that a possible 'rape' accusation should be believed no questions asked and the fact that this particular episode of Voy ends with the probable implication that the accusation not of rape but something maybe similar was wrong constitutes values dissonance.

An AWFUL trope that I see is being overused everywhere lately is the "What Do You Mean It's not Political?" Because they insert it into every YMMV page and insist that the "secret message" of the movie/book in question is "fuck Drumpf open borders" and like shit, not everything has to be political. Not EVERY political message in media has to be about Brexit / Trump / muh immigrants-refugees.

Of course, expecting tumblrinas/tropers to know about politics outside the USA/Europe is like asking a cow to fly...
