He looks very alert despite what the respite saying he was more alert on the meds, yet they couldn't get him to calm down? "There was someone supposed to help us!" Woooooow, you're his mom, do it yourself. That shit isn't going to fly, or at the very least it shouldn't. Also dragging the kid along like that, and a stranger doing it while the mom records is eeeeeh.

His eyes are much brighter and he's smiling and laughing every so often, he might be going through withdrawals but it looks like he's having a damn good time not being doped up.

LOL Susan thinks that Bodhi losing some of that distressing bloat in his stomach is a sign for concern. In Bodhi's case, losing weight is a GREAT thing, especially since he's pre-diabetic. Her agenda is so obvious. She's going to keep dropping subtle whining about Bodhi not being stoned off his rocker until she gets her way, pointing to every little bit of normal physical or emotional behavior as proof that HE NEEDS MORE MEDICATION!!!111

If Bodhi started quoting Shakespeare and wrote down the cure for cancer while also eloquently telling her to go fuck herself, the harpy would still be shrieking to the heavens about Adam Lanza.

Also, with Bodhi on a 'med-wash' who exactly would have approved IV sedation for him right now, and not wait until the two weeks was up?
I call BS and say she staged ALL OF IT.

Bodhi looks way more alert now then ever. I see the guy is keep a firm grip on him and I do see where he maybe wants to elope. But this is good this is what a normal artistic child would be doing that doesn’t need to be drugged to high heavens...

My son had to have an mri if his brain and they had to put him under anesthesia for it. Maybe when she made the appointment she thought her precious pills would be enough to have him keep still but since coming off he needs to be sedated for it. Which in that case is th last thing bodhi needs right now. I understand it’s important for the docs to get the mri but not at the cost of putting him under. He’s too weak in my opinion.

I've had multiple MRI's and the person operating the machine gave me a dye injection. Also any nurse can start an IV. Perhaps because of his movements they needed a doctor to sign for a sedative. It seems like that is what they were talking about, but I agree it seems very odd.

Tbh before you said it could be staged I was already wondering wtf the game was and how much they pay Carlos to be such a fucking asslicker. Bodhi lost weight because he's no longer a bloated, constipated mess.

Anyway, partway through, when he's beginning to explain what happened he says, "They forgot to inform us that..." and then he stops himself and goes back to the "they didn't have anyone here" story. Wtf did they not inform you to do, Carlos? Because it sure sounds like you were about to say it was Susan's responsibility to do something here that she didn't do. Whether they "forgot" to inform her or whether she just told Carlos she was never told, there's a lie in here somewhere.

Edit: as an aside, it makes me absolutely CRAZY everytime she does that whole "read my mind and say what I want you to say" thing. Carlos will end a sentence and it's all, "therefore..." "and what are we going to do now?" "Yeah but what ELSE are we going to do now??" Like Christ, stfu you narcissistic harpy.

Susan just magically thought an anesthetist would be there at the MRI appointment? Did she even book this in? Looks like no.

I'm a wee bit disappointed to hear Jani was interviewed at home with Susan in the next room (and presumably by a producer). I would have liked for her to be isolated in the green room with the Dr like they often do for kids. I think she would reveal much more that way. Maybe it will still happen on the taping day?

The story was early in Phil's career, was more 'human interest' and was tied into the Oprah episode as he was closely affiliated with her at the time. Dr Phil as full-time problem solver came later.

There really are doctors who can be blamed here though. Realistically any doctor who signed off on Clozapine for example (and there are two, right?). Just because Susan screeches shouldn't mean shit, as the last psychiatrist to see them has demonstrated.

It's like she still thinks she is a reporter. Do you hear it in her voice? Especially after just listening to her last radio show. It's like she's stuck in a perma-delusion that she's a reporter and she's using her kids to expose the horrors of the mental health care system. It's fucking weird.

Yip.. that’s likely why she always starts with the date and her clips are around 30 seconds of uber weirdness! IMO this has all stemmed from a need to report on something.. she can’t stop, as per her most recent clip! Fucking freakazoid!
