If nothing else, this case shows how ill-equipped the state is to deal with MbP. There are famous cases of MbP, but the ones I've read about concluded with the Munchie or the Proxy dying at the hands of the other, tragically.

What enables these cases (IMO) is that the Munchie appears superficially to be the caring guardian of a very ill child, which is the EXACT kind of child the state doesn't want as a ward. Severely ill children are expensive and hard to place into a good situation, so they are willing to allow a shitload of slack to the Munchie. The state has plausible deniability ("It looked like she cared so much!!"), so they look the other way since they're generally overwhelmed with cases and they can find a reason to not bother with the Munchie. It's a cold calculation, but reality is harsh.

Fortunately MbP is pretty rare, but social media gives narcs an easier path. I doubt we'll see a Munchie epidemic, but it's not good that potential Munchies have an easy outlet to get money and attention from their veiled child abuse. The old MO was to move from community to community to exploit unfamiliar doctors and a new fundraising base. As we've seen with the Schofield monster, using social media fixes the fundraising side and living in a sufficiently large city can negate the doctor familiarity for longer.

Jani clearly doesn't like him from what we've seen on the videos and she doesn't seem like she would be afraid to tell Michael or people at school if he did something.

I know Amy and Michael read our posts, so I'd like to be totally out of line and implore them to find it in their hearts, even with a new baby and young daughter, to invite Jani to take a break from her useless classes at school and come for a vacation in Minnesota while Bodhi is in Texas instead of staying alone with Cory. Letting her be with her dad for a while and get to know Amy and her step and half siblings, eat family meals that have been cooked in a kitchen, at a table, watch movies on a couch and sleep in a bed not surrounded by clutter and trash would be such a valuable experience for her, and she's not the challenge she was as a kid. Plus with the information lovely Kelli has shared, her emotional and physical well-being alone with Cory may very well be at stake.

@Rosa_Rojo, has Michael expressed any interest in hosting or moving Jani? It'd be so good for her. Fuck, she could wear her damn glasses to fix that awful eye.

This is a positive step, but Michael needs to keep up the momentum. Most grad schools let you defer your attendance for extenuating circumstances, and this seems like one of those situations. Michael's time now is much better spent learning how to parent his new kid AND to step up to be more active with the kids he abandoned.

Bodhi might be a vegetable for life, but Jani has hope.

Something that just occurred to me with people suggesting the worst-case scenario of Batshit claiming that Bodhi killed himself when she actually killed him. Another way for her to further her Munchie mania and destroy not only Bodhi, but both children, is to kill Bodhi and frame/accuse Jani of doing it in a fit of psychosis, or in reverse and potentially more likely with last night's "his behaviors are ALL BACK" declaration, severely injure/incapacitate Jani or end her life and put it on Bodhi, attributing it to psychotic violence.

I was going to post the same thing about the PNP center. Susan is incapable of doing “homework” and working therapeutically with her son. I guess we can hope she will assign the army of babysitters she has to do it.

Unless Bodhi is either unconscious, or can behave like a totally self-sufficient adult, Susan will screech he’s psychotic. If Bodhi requires any care or attention from her she thinks something is wrong with him.

The epic irony that if Susan could have just done minimal parenting for some years she would have two mostly independent kids at this point and would be free to do as she manically pleases. Instead she has two brain damaged kids that are utterly dependent.

@Amy Santiago is correct. Susan claiming Bodhi is “trying to pull his genitals off” is like her claiming him looking around the room is a hallucination. It just shows Susan misconstruing everything he does to fit her manic narrative. Bodhi was playing with himself and trying out masturbation, but since he’s in a chemical fog he doesn’t have ideal timing nor technique. But leave it to Susan to see a possibly pleasurable activity for Bodhi as “self-harming” that needs to be immediately stopped with more drugs. Puberty for Bodhi is going to be a wild ride and utter hell on Susan. I’d almost fear she’d try to get hormone blockers to halt it.

This is very concerning. Thanks to other leaks we have an understanding of how badly Cory treats women/girls in his care. We also have clearly heard/seen the way he treats Jani and ignores Susan, which reinforces what we have been told and what we have witnessed about his character.

I find it deeply disturbing given his past behaviours that he would then focus so much attention and be so physically affectionate with Bodhi? In one video Cory can be seen clasping on to Bodhi and gently blowing on his face- it's really unnerving to witness. It screams and shouts Red Flag!!!

If we compare Corys past and present pattern of behaviour.. it is polar opposite of what we see with Bodhi. What man can have sexual relations with his wife, with a “poorly” 11 year old boy in touching distance!? The white stains are even on the side facing Bodhi... it’s fucked up!

Personally, I think the worst Cory can do to Jani is to forget to feed her. It will not be ideal situation, but he really doesn't seem to be interested in her in any way, including the creepy possibilities.

I'm impressed with the dedication of our Kiwi Leaks and personal sacrifice of KeepHopeAlive. It would be a shitfest of paranoia in this thread if we didn't get any details about what happened.

I think there is a great chance that Susan will lose custody of the kids if she will not correct her behavior soon. We know she is not capable to correct her behavior, and she wrongly assumes that it will continue to be tolerated by authorities. I believe she is very very wrong.

If she will do something to Bodhi even by accident after she was told not to medicate him, she will for sure pay the consequences.
Thorazine as a sleeping pill? Bitch, please... How insane you have to be to think this way. The children I know even as babies did not go to sleep at 6 pm! Definitely not as toddlers or 11 years old. For 11 year old 9pm seems to be quite appropriate bedtime given that children this age need on average 10h of sleep, and the child would wake up at 7am to get ready for school.

I think that the people from DCFS related to the show are watching Susan very closely right now, because if something happened to Bodhi, they cannot pretend that they were not aware of her munchie behavior. It is in their best interest to keep Bodhi save. Imagine the backlash if something happened to Bodhi. Granted, they might try to shelf the show, to bury it in some dusty corner, but still: we know, and many other people know what happened during the show, so playing innocent will not work at all.

The stakes are so high, and the Witch has no idea what awaits her if she will continue to break the rules. I suspect that they didn't have enough evidence to pull the kids right now from the house, and this stupid bitch just voluntarily provided a proof of her insanity.

I predict she will continue her insane behavior, and her demise is just unavoidable at this point. Reputation of too many important people is at stake. If something happened to Bodhi or Jani, it could end many careers.

Has she ever really talked about his personality, or just mostly complained about his “schizophrenic” behaviour? I don’t think she gives a goddamn about his personality or who he is inside, so long as he’s quiet. I'm pretty sure this is his plan anyway just from what I have been reading on here today about the taping and how he acted. His ego will be bruised that things did not go his way (he told me that he was sure the whole thing was gonna be about slamming Michael for what a POS he is--he was super confident about that) but he's already planning a way he can escape as the "good guy". Michael can get Bodhi to engage in conversation no problem, reportedly, but Susan can't get the kid to coherently say, like, 'I want a hot dog'. Kind of blows her ability to coerce him into saying 'I want to become a woman when I grow up'. Plus I feel like Cory would never be cool with a 'sissy' for a stepson. A drooling, poisoned vegetable of course, because that nets him welfare shekels.
