This is @ibewwife1990 's mom, Nancy. I'm in the process of getting verified and already submitted a thread on the Talk to Us forum. I've been a lurker on this thread for over a year. Kelli and I have been conversing over the past couple of days regarding this latest development and her involvement and I just have to say she is courageous for speaking up and I agree with everything that she's said about Cory.

I guess I'm speaking up now because the latest things that Cory has been posting just made me sick to my stomach, especially as a mother of 2 children on the spectrum myself. I don't know if there's anything I can contribute, but if there is, please let me know.

In the meantime I will keep Bodhi and Jani in my thoughts and prayers.

This thread started out so small. At the beginning it was just a couple of us bitching and moaning about what we thought was shady and exploitative behavior. It really didn't start to grow until the book readings started and even then it was slow going apart from occasionally dissecting Susan's stupid videos. To see it grow into something this big on the site after almost two years of research and horror is really something. Semper fi to all you brave souls that got the thread this far.

Kind of funny, screech makes enough for a 2 bedroom, and looking at old videos Michael made 2-1 bedroom apartments work on less than what shes bringing in, so why is she still using the excuse that she cant afford it. Im guessing she wants people to pity her, she needs that attention on top of being so damn lazy that she doesnt clean the small area that they do live in. Its insane that they would choose to stay in such an expensive area, yet live like ghetto trash, no furniture, only the $10 plastic drawer sets for all their clothes, a folding table and chair as a “therapy” table.

I wanted you guys to know too, ABA is one on therapy, these kids arent getting any therapy, at all. Carlos and Paris are respite workers, glorified babysitters that she doesnt have to pay for. When ABA is applied and the ABA therapist actually does the work, you see marked improvement in the children, not this horseshit that she has been saying is ABA. It also has an extremely high turnover rate since the states font pay as much as they should for the amount of work you put in, so agencies dont pay but $10-$14 an hour if you have full credentials. The way respite is supposed to work is the child gets to leave the house for a specific amount of time, usually a day or two, and they get to bill for a start hour up until they take the child back home. This nonsense that she gets an hour or two of respite everyday bothers me to all high hell, theres no need, there never has been, she doesnt work so why is she abusing that service and who is allowing her to abuse it?

Reguarding her being his care taker and being paid for it, id like to see the hours shes billing, how shes billing it, and how many start times she has listed per day. Start times pay 4-6 times what a second hour does, if she makes $5k a week, shes billing 2-4 start times a day and then 12-16 hours per day, which by federal medicaid law she cant do more than 8 because she is immediate family. It just seems like shes getting away with more than just when hes home, he spends 4-6 hours a day at school and as weve seen in the videos, carlos and paris are almost always there, if thats the case then shes double dipping and you cant pay more than one caretaker per client.
Medicaid billing was what i used to do before my stroke, thats why im curious about how shes making so much.

Thank you for the welcome. Cory has a very good high school friend, Bryan Corliss, that I believe he's still in contact with. He also had a really good friend named Ian that we hung out with when we first met. He never acted strangely around them or anything like how he is with Bodhi. I almost threw up watching that tickle video of him and Bodhi.

I have never heard him being diagnosed with Autism and just from what I know about him I find that extremely hard to believe. Where did he come up with that? lol

I just want to say here that until someone thinks, oh Jani is perfectly safe, men who would prey on her are one in a million, I think we all need to remember that she's very naive for her age and nobody around her gives a shit about her or protects her. I'd say minus her dad, nobody probably takes an interest in her either. All it would take is a predator who pretends they also like bearded dragons.

Girls of her age with good backgrounds and normal levels of intelligence for their age get groomed and sexually abused/exploited too, so imagine where that puts Jani. Plus, she has the body of a woman now and the mind of a child. That's not a good combo.

And when it comes to her hygiene, sadly this would not put off the type of predator who would pick her out. A male nurse raped and impregnated a woman who had been in a vegetative state for decades last year. There are some depraved humans out there, and I hope to God this won't happen, but if Cory is neglecting Jani and paying her no attention, and her glorified babysitters (or anyone they bring to the apartment to introduce to Jani) begin to try anything with her, it makes me shudder. Jani (and Bodhi) are perfect prey and we know this.

Hi. Just wanted to say... I have been lurking for awhile. I have shown some of the videos to my social worker - to get his take on it, and he was just as horrified as everyone else is. I am so upset that these kids have fallen through the cracks - that their family has failed them in so many ways. If I were somehow involved with this family personally, I would risk being charged with kidnapping to get the kids the fuck out of Susan's trap.

I am also not surprised that a group of strangers over the internet are coming together like this. There are just more people who work for good in this world than there are evil and everyone involved in the recent developments is proving that. Thank you.

It's a bit rich Cory claiming he's doing all the work when he's not even providing the health insurance at this point, and Michael has a perfectly good plan the kids can use (but Susan won't use because they won't give her precioussssss meds) . Cory's only contribution really is that he takes Bohdi off Susan's hands sometimes and the nature of that is a bit suspect in of itself. He doesn't sound like the kind of guy who actually takes kids out to trips to the cinema or to play fetch.

Hi Nancy! In a way I'm sorry you guys have to deal with all this stuff going on as I'm sure most of you would rather not be dealing with Cory yet again - but we hope you feel welcome here.

His photos of people are just plain weird, and it's eerie that he's taken them. He's also as shitty a photographer as Susan is a videographer. They're just blurry, unframed, out of focus crap.

Susan was having Michael beg their friends for cash every month. Eventually, the friends got sick of it and that's when they moved back into one place.

When ABA is applied and the ABA therapist actually does the work, you see marked improvement in the children, not this horseshit that she has been saying is ABA.

They don't get actual therapists anymore, because Susan would interrupt the therapy, and never enforce anything once they left. The last one we saw around, who tried to do therapy for both kids, was Hot Jennifer the Respite / ABA Worker, RIP. She appeared around Jani's 16th birthday, and gave Jani age appropriate gifts and was trying to form a close, teenage girlfriends relationship. Jennifer also tried to use actual ABA therapy for Bodhi. Susan hated all of this. Jennifer was gone within a month.
