The new guy means Susan no longer wanted to spend all day with the kids, so off to school they go for the first time in years. This brings authorities into their lives, new people who notice something is very wrong with both children, who are obviously overdosed daily and the teachers don't feel comfortable participating in the crime. Bodhi is drugged until his little body nearly gives out, and Susan is using extreme physical punishments.

So things went downhill rapidly in the 18 months between June 2017 and January 2019. No one could have predicted it would come to this point, nor that Amy would be 9 months pregnant during the crescendo.


Poor Susan, she's still thinking she's got months for this to die down - and that she deserves to be on during May sweeps. Buckle up, buttercup: this is coming at you fast.

Well no my point is more it had sort of settled into something that looked like stability. Kids were going to school ect. But Susan had found doctors that were willing to give those drugs for lord knows what reason. If a medical professional is saying it's fine - you probably will have a hard time taking that to court. It wasn't perfect at all, but also not enough rope provided to make the noose, as they say. As has been covered sadly in this thread, there is a lot of "low level" abuse that's easy to get away with due to child services wanting to do everything in their power to keep families together, and removal can sometimes be worse for these kids than them staying where they are. Grim but true.

But this was going to happen in the end anyway, because the very meds Susan begged for were slowly eating away at Bohdi. It's just sad that the medical profession *and* the local services failed to step in and do what's right just because Susan's an imposing bully

To be perfectly fair, I don't think anyone knows the full extent of Susan's madness even now.

I've been forced to try Abilify twice and jesus the dyskinesia is horrendous, so I sympathize with that poor kid. I wrote about my bad experience with Risperdal in this thread a while ago and it was just as bad. Amen, sister. Abilify's side effects are awful. It's one thing to put up with them if it's course correction for a genuine illness, but Bodhi never needed it.

I would have thought she'd mention the dyskinesia if she saw it, though--it would fit the psychosis narrative. "OMG, he's twitching! That means he's seizing!" So maybe he was spared that side effect.h

He wasn't spared from it. Susan just thought that the dyskinesia was him hallucinating.

Just got a bug in my head to research Benadryl and the impact on children... got this info from Toxnet..benadryl can have a paradoxical effect of stimulation(maybe why didn't knock Bohdi out) and also this" Diphenhydramine toxicity (e.g., dilated pupils, facial flushing, hallucinations, ataxic gait, urinary retention) has been reported in pediatric patients (19 months to 9 years of age) " The ataxic gait really stood out to me ..if you look at Bohdi's walk in several of the videos..

Michael visibly cringes and looks at the floor when Susan shouts,'THEN YOU GIVE ME THE DOCTOR WHO CAN!', lol.
I went through and scheduled recordings of all the new Dr Phil shows for next week on my DVR. None of the episodes had titles or descriptions yet which made me wonder if maybe they moved the schedule around to get this episode out sooner. In any case, looking forward to it, and also glad to hear that Michael will be part of the Dallas trip. I think that's going to be absolutely essential in making sure it's not a total wash.

It is far less likely that a mother would inflict those illnesses on her grownup children. I doubt Jennifer is a munchie. Seems more likely that the kids got bad genetic setup and thus are suffering from autoimmune conditions. The youngest was supposed to become a professional swimmer but Jennifer pushed her too hard on that and her study front and the pressure may have cracked the poor girl's immune system. The other two were eating antipsychotics which do not help the body to stay in balance. It seems that at the moment Ailish is the healthiest of the three. I have followed Jen on Facebook and Instagram, but have not found the kids' accounts, except Ailish's Facebook. If you have links to those, please send them to me :)
