So how is Chantal 20 pounds lighter now? I knew even looking at her face & chin/chins that she was bigger than her last gym membership, & when she did that side view it was confirmed. Chantal is either off in her weight back then, now or most likely both times.
She said she's going to the doctor next week. She'd be smart (yea, I know) to tell the nurse she wishes to document her weight with a video & film herself getting on the scale. They won't mind.
Now if she wishes to try & fool herself about her weight, then OK, do nothing. But if she's trying to convince everyone else that her new vegan/plant based (gag) diet is working, a real starting weight is needed.

I keep waiting for the camera to show me a difference, & it has. It keeps showing me she's bigger.
What is she really eating? We already know about the bags of Doritos she showed us, but are those 2 bags the truth? We already know she will change clothing, make-up & hairstyles in one day to make it seem as if it's the next day & eat enough for a family. We already know her biggest trigger is being in her car near the fast food places she loves.

But she's bigger. So what is she really eating?
This is where I suspect something else is coming.
She's crammed in a lot of exercise & plans for exercise for someone now saying she'll get the surgery if her doctor says she needs it. Not quite the perfect time to join a gym & a 30 day free membership.
I guess we wait. Wait for the camera to tell us all we need to know. So far it's telling us she fatter than last year & nowhere near 360 pounds.

"Muscle weighs more than fat" drives me nuts because a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. It's denser though and takes up less space, but this bizarre "what weighs more, feathers or iron" nonsense always irritates me. Like slipping into starvation mode after skipping a snack or it's dangerous to lose more than a pound a week, it's something fatties use to be able to keep their heads in the sand regarding their process. The muscle weighs more than fat meme has people who are little more than bean bags full of rendered bacon fat believing that they can gain two pounds of muscle in a week. Since they are gaining so much muscle, which is so magical one pound of it weighs more than one pound of fat, they're totally not worried about not losing weight or even gaining because they sat in an office chair and flexed around with the hand weight equivalent of a Pringles can. They will tell you they totally lost a pound of fat but you can't see it on the scale because they gained so much weight in muscle.

For sure women can gain muscle mass but it takes a very specialized diet and rigorous weight training for a woman to reduce her body fat while building muscle and even then they reach the point that men do wherein they must have bulking periods wherein they eat enough to build muscle mass. Beginner female body builders can gain about .67 pounds of muscle a month. Chantal is nowhere near being able to exercise in a manner that could achieve such results. Right now if she did a traditional bar bell squat with 20 pound weights she'd blow out both her knees. There is zero way she could do anything close to the sort of exercises she would need to put on .67 pounds of muscle a month, let alone enough mass to offset fat loss on the scale. I bet some meathead trainer or self-appointed nutritionist told her that a bad weigh in could be due to muscle gain.

Right now all she should worry about is burning fat and as pitiful as her exercise routine appears to fit people, the fact is at her weight such exercise 30 minutes a day is great start. Water aerobics would be such a good idea for a person at her weight. But muscle gain affecting the bottom line on the scale is years away for a woman who loses more than two-thirds of a pound every time she burps.

I think the "muscle weighs more than fat" myth came from a misunderstanding of how your body deals with weight training. If you're starting a new weight training regime, or if you go really hard one day, your body will retain water for a few days afterwards in order to assist with muscle repair. It can definitely be a little disheartening to suddenly see a few extra pounds on the scale (or a dramatically slower decrease) when you know you're eating correctly and exercising. But it's hard to research things and easy to parrot things you hear from other people.
 
“Muscle weighs more than fat” matters only to athletes and extremely active people. You need a lot of time and effort to build muscle. It doesn’t happen after two weeks of walking around the gym and lifting 1-lb ketchup bottles.

The only people who can build muscle quickly are young men and people who use steroids. The male body is naturally more adapted to putting on muscle mass due to much higher testosterone levels. Even the meekest buzzfeed soy enthusiast has higher testosterone levels than a female athlete who doesn’t take steroids. It’s just nature.

It’s fucking hilarious that a middle-aged morbidly obese woman thinks she’s building muscle after a few weeks of dieting and doing lame exercises that would put a 90-year-old to sleep. Bitch, youill never put in any significant muscle mass because you’re a woman and you’re fat as fuck, and obesity fucks up your hormones.

That woman is a fitness guru who frequently does food challenges and has an insane workout routine that involves a lot of weight lifting. That’s peak female physique without steroids.

Chantal, if you get lean enough for your hormones to get back to normal, start eating a bodybuilder’s diet, and spend 5 to 10 years weight lifting, maybe you’ll put on 20 pounds of muscle. Maybe. Right now, it ain’t happening. Any weight you gain now is fat, water, or a gut full of food.
 
Chantal makes me laugh a LOT when she talks about being afraid of muscles mass and its weight. First of all, IT'S MUSCLES how the f*** can it be bad? Imagine gaining weight cuz you're getting more muscular... it would be awesome! Well not for Chantal it seems.

Please allow me to powerlevel for some comparison.

A few years ago I was bed ridden for 18 months. I lost muscle mass, of course. When I got better I joined a gym to get back some basic strength and they scanned me on a machine that measure the weight of your basic body (bones, muscles, organs, skin) vs the weight of pure fat you carry. This allows to measure the GAINZ aka muscles mass.

Well, I did 45 mins of heavy lifting 4-5x per week for 3 damn months and gained...... less than 3 pounds of muscles.

If Chantal is gaining weight, it's the Doritos, not the muscles.

Muscle is more dense than fat. So, a lady who lifts can be the same size as another lady, yet weigh much more. That's the source of the myth.

A pound of fat is a giant blob. A pound of muscle is thin. They are still both a pound.

But this is not something Chantal needs to even be considering. There is no way she is going to suddenly put on 10 pounds of muscle from waddling round an empty gym classroom, or doing chair exercises. Any weight gain will be from her binges, and she is trying to hide that fact from herself.

Of course going vegan was always a diet to her just like fasting was never for her cysts but another attempt at weight loss. Chantal cycles throughs diets constantly because she is still looking for that elusive magic pill that will make her thin in only a few days. She knows better than doctors, scientists and everyone else that says that significant and consistent weight loss takes time.

To poor little snowflake Chantal, a process and everything it entails is just too stressful for her. Stress is part of life and always trying to run away from responsability and doing things you do not like doing is some really immature behaviour from a woman in her mid-thirties. You wonder how a person like that managed to get her paws on a driving license but i guess she was really motivated by the idea of stuffing herself in parking lots.

If Chantal loves veganism soooo much and loves lording her ethically superior diet in people's faces then why is she quitting after a single setback? Vegans struggle in restaurants and social situations all the time so it is understandable that she caved to social pressure and ate meat. All she has to do is say that she is still committed to the plant based diet and is going to keep working on it.

No one would never succeed at anything if he or she gave up and changed course and then gave up and changed course as often as Chantal. She keeps trying to find the easy way out but it just keeps her from ever reaching her goal.
 
It's absolutely ridiculous that she acts morally superior and then churns out baby-sized meatloaf mukbangs. I wonder if she will feel guilty after the comments and force herself to watch slaughterhouse videos again in an attempt to go back to avoiding meat. Just kidding, I know she will. Doesn't she ever get tired of living the same exact scenarios out over and over and over and over again? She is beyond boring at this point. I too am holding tight for a chimp-out, but I've definitely forsaken her as my pet cow.
