AL an enormous, narcissistic liar, but she controls (albeit haphazardly) the information we have to work with. We don't have a lot of other sources to ask for details.
Exactly! The level of manipulation and lies must be borderline psychotic with her. There is not one adult in her life that has anything encouraging, supportive or sympathetic to say of her.
- Mom & granny both want nothing to do with her
- Aunt Tammy called her out on all the lies & basically disowned her
- Kasey's mom is definitely not a fan (even prior to the false rape allegation)
- Krystal's parents didn't want their daughter to visit ALR
- Destiny's family were outspoken on ALR's behaviour
- Now there is the Becky family drama
- Other notable mentions in this category: all the unnecessary drama she created with her colleagues at the 'government' Veteran office job (not just a regular disagreement between coworkers but a full blown out dramatic event)
It's pretty telling that all these people are complete strangers from each other but they have all come to the same conclusion that ALR is not just going thru a difficult time but she's practically kryptonite! Not one single sympathetic ear from anyone to say '...but she's had a hard childhood, blah blah blah'. NOPE!
I think Eric exposed a true version of Amber in that screeching tantrum fight between Becky and Amber (in which he intervened). In that outburst, her controlling tantrums conviently got labeled a 'binge monster' episode. I think this might be the type of manipulative behaviour she accustomed to and no one should dare try to correct her on it. Even Destiny is now starting to reveal how the drama & controlling issues were quite problematic. Rafe also let slip a few secrets after their big fight. All these other people can't be creating some conspiracy against her, there has to be a reason all of them come to this same opinion about her. But we only see the soft spoken, crying version when she plays her victim card to YouTube. She never has any self-reflection on these failed relationships to learn then improve or admits to faults of her own.
Edit re: Eric intervening:
I believe it was on Eric's channel. It was a few months after Al moved in with them, Eric briefly mentions Al and Becky were fighting/yelling so badly that he went to make sure Becky was ok, After he stated this, there was a noticeable delay in either of them uploading anything. Then I recall a very detailed video explaining this was a binge monster event (where ALR didn't get her way for some food).
