That's a pretty dumb comparison, btw. Unlike Dispatch, Ralph hasn't doxed anyone, or instructed Zoom to do so.

Oh to be sure I enjoy watching the killstream and did not care about the kumite, but the people I mentioned put themselves into the line of fire. Ralph not wanting his supporters doxed is more like being offended at the idea of killing non-combatants in wartime. Pragmatically it hurts the other side just the same as killing soldiers, but there is still a disconnect between the two.

I will grant you that not coming out and at least saying "Hey guys, some asshole is going around doxing people who like the show, maybe read the KF post about how not to make it easy enough for a 65 IQ sperg to do." was a bad move that makes him look like an asshole. If it really went down that way at any rate, there are conflicting reports of him warning people who were at risk of it. Maybe we'll hear more about it monday.

Fair, if it really is just a retard moment, fine. But I just find it very fishy. It sucks because I really enjoyed the killstream pre knoxville, but it's just lately thing have been looking really gay.

The whole cat lady paypig doxing thing seems silly. I guess it could be considered a shitty thing to do or whatever and is an outright act of hostility (at least in this case), but it's just so uninteresting.

Nobody is gonna care some noname catlady donates to Ralph and this won't effect her at all aside from maybe being afraid of the internet for a little.

Obviously it is in Stream.me's best interests to protect their users and they did the only logical thing they could in response. I get why Ralph would not draw attention to the dox because that would be feeding the trolls and they are so uninteresting that nobody would otherwise care

As a web developer myself, I had no idea what they were talking about there. Technically, any time you visit a web site, you are telling that site's server your IP address (VPNs and other malarkey nonwithstanding), and it's possible for that server to log that IP address. But that's just normal logging, not something you'd give a silly name like "IP scraper." And just an IP address in isolation isn't very useful information. My guess is someone somewhere is trying to sound like a l33t backtracing h4x0r or something.
