That story always got me... either you call your folks to ask where the batteries are, go to the store and grab a new pack, or make sure you always have extras on hand where you can find them. Even a teenager could figure that shit out.

Oh, I forgot one of the most obvious things: keep an insulin pen with you at all times in case of emergency. I’m not even diabetic but it took me less than 30 seconds to figure out how to be prepared.
