Stomach acid isn't produced by the lining of the stomach, it's produced by gastric glands.
The stomach lining does however produce a mucus. This mucus is intended to protect the lining from stomach acid. Additionally, stomach acid doesn't "burn" it just... slowly dissolves things, I guess you could say? It's way bulimics have bad teeth- frequent exposure to stomach acid erodes away the enamel. This mucus, however, is not the same as lubricants naturally produced by the vagina- it doesn't have the same pH. This is why "neo-vaginas" tend to get infected more frequently than normal ones, among other reasons. We've evolved vaginas that clean themselves and regulate their own pH levels. Obviously an inverted penis, or in Jazz's case, stomach lining, is not capable of that.
I'm still baffled as to why Jazz got the surgery in the first place. He's not going to experience sexual pleasure either way, might as well not further risk his health. I mean, all of his friends, family, whomever already accepted him as a girl, and he looks reasonably enough like a girl. Thanks for his media presence, everyone who dates him is going to know he's trans in advance and/or be some shade of bisexual, so what difference does having a vagina ultimately make if you can't have sex and only your romantic partner and doctor are going to see it? And don't say it's for Jazz- suicide rates in pre- and post-op transsexuals are exactly the same, indicating that it does nothing for their personal mental health, either.
Seriously, even looking at it from a pro-troon perspective, I'm struggling to see what the surgery accomplished. Given how dangerous and expensive the procedure is, the supposed benefits should be obvious and important. It's almost a notch below cosmetic surgery, because at least other people can SEE nose jobs/tit jobs/whatever, making the argument that it improves self-esteem more tangible.

Because of his crazy mother. It seems that child transitioners get their genitals multilated more often than adults even though the autcomes are way worse.
It could be because of pressure and/or the fact that their dicks are useless and tiny. No orgasm, no sex drive, no erections. They don't know what they are missing because they never experienced it so they see it as a thing that needs to dissapear so that they can be "real girls".
But is a mucus leaking stink ditch between their legs that has to be dilated better? They also don't feel sexual pleasure since their sexuality never developed and because of the estrogen overdoses.

The movie sounds like it’s going to suck. If the premise of the movie is about some current topic/legislation, it’s bound to be bad. I predict it will be super heavy-handed in the delivery like the movie Cyberbully. If it is like that, I could see some schools using it as a PSA.

I see your point, but in the video clip the producer and director are set on this trans activism thing. The movie Love, Simon had more depth because it wasn’t only about being gay. This on the other hand has the whole plot revolving around being outed in a bathroom. Call me a pessimist, but this movie will most likely not have any subtlety or nuance.
