They just keep going on about it.

Nice avoidance of the actual message of my post. Got any actual counter-arguments to the point I raised, or are you dead set on providing the thread with a living case study in how TDS doesn't only affect liberals?

Quite the ruffian you are.

They just keep going on about it.

"It's weird we don't have a president. They just keep mentioning that one guy everyday, I dunno who he is, I dunno what he does. But it's just that one guy who's a dick, that they keep mentioning."

I have to think Obama at least PRIVATELY contemplated doing what Trump did, say after Sandy Hook, to declare the 2nd Amendment null and void and forcibly take everyone's guns. And that Pelosi talked him out of it.

Not an "all guns" grab, but certainly all the "assault rifles" was probably seriously discussed. And I agree the reason he probably backed down was his subordinate think tank told him that it would never hold up in court, and, even worse, when it inevitably got rolled back, it may result in the USSC finally defining "assault weapon" and pointing out that effectively NOBODY owns one, as the dems have always preffered the grey ignorant/emotional definition of such - big, scary, black polymer longarms of ANY make or model.

In fact, anything but a pistol or shotgun would qualify as an 'assault weapon' to them. Around the time of the first AWB, there was an attempt to make the "sniper rifle" definition similarly creep to cover anything with a rifled barrel over 6'' with he obvious end goal of making every rifle in the country illegal because "nobody needs a sniper rifle". But that failed because even they couldn't convince the public that any Joe Schmoe with a 30.06 in the basement was an unhinged loony wanting to climb a clock tower.. deer rifles have an obvious sporting purpose that the attempt to gloss over was doomed to fail at, but I digress.

The instant they have to define it in a SANE manner of only applying to weapons with fully automatic fire (already illegal except for grandfathered or C&R weapons) they'd maybe get a wheelbarrow-load of guns off the street at best and they'd never be able to play the "assault weapon" card again. It's ultimately why the left always try advancing gun control in drips and drabs, because they know that if they go all in for total ban, there's a high chance it not only gets tossed by the courts, but gets enshrined as unpassable so they don't get a second chance.

They'd rather "win" by swiping $5 unnoticed from the till year after year than risk running off with the whole store safe due to the higher chance of getting "caught"

That and the fact that the first time the feds try a door-to-door national confiscation of anything owned in excess by the public at large, let alone guns, it's going to be war at worst and a lot of dead federal agents at best.

It's weird how all those tweets are fawning over Obama for being a "husband and father" Is Trump not also those things? Did his children sprout fully formed from his forehead like Zeus?
You have to be delusional to miss someone who drone striked and deported millions of children and tax people for shitty healthcare.

Man accused of pulling gun on couple wearing MAGA hats

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Tennessee man is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment after witnesses told police he pulled a gun on a man who was wearing Make America Great Again hat inside Sam’s Club.

The hat is associated with President Donald Trump’s campaign for office.

James Phillips, 57, of Cottontown, Tenn., is accused of pulling a gun on the man inside the store Saturday after making an obscene gesture with his finger, according to his arrest citation.

Phillips, who was wearing a veterans cap, told police he made the gesture at the man and a woman with him because of the MAGA hats they were wearing, according to his citation. The man then confronted Phillips inside the store and an argument began.

That man then made the same obscene gesture to Phillips, according to the citation. At that point, witnesses told police Phillips pointed a gun at the man. That portion of the incident could not be seen on video surveillance.

Police encountered Phillips and the couple after being called to the Sam’s Club parking lot where multiple witnesses had called the police to report a man pulling a gun on a couple, according to his citation.

Callers told police the man, later identified as Phillips, told the woman, “it’s a good day to die b…..”

In his rear right pocket, Phillips was carrying a concealed .40 caliber Glock with a bullet chambered. He had two extra magazines in his left cargo pocket, according to his arrest citation.

He holds a concealed carry permit from Tennessee which has a reciprocal agreement with Kentucky for concealed carry licenses.

Phillips is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

They're probably people who see CNN as reality.
I said this before despite not being real, but I could see these idiots defend Obama if the day comes when and if he gets ousted as a sexual predator who raped women during his time in office. It would be hysterically to watch them act like idiots.

You'll note that even the most fevered anti-gun bills written by Democrats don't include confiscation, only a bar from transfer so they can peaceably prevent the gun from being inherited. Only Cortez would be stupid enough to try spawning a hundred thousand mini-Wacos all across the country, though even if, by some sorcery Cortez tried to make it happen it would just be a collapse of the executive. No federal agent, or god forbid, state or county level law enforcement officer would be willing to roll up to people's houses and ask for a surrender of their guns.

They know they'd get them, bullets first.
