That's really it. Renfamous had had this hard on for Ethan for fucking ages because "MUH COMICSGATE". Pensacon was blabbing because people are questioning the narrative the con's been pumping out, only for them to show how super duper serial the whole situation was because "OMG A BOMB THREAT".

The probably thought leaking it to EVS (who's a not-weeb) was a relatively safe bet in their fucked up minds as there's totally not going to be eyes all over this with their recent over the top tweets and statements.

It then turns out they probably didn't report it, just like Samantha didn't report the fake SWATing.

The two statements aren't inconsistent. They could have called local police, and the FBI could have been previously unaware of it. If they actually did call the police, they should be able to prove that, since there would be a record of it. If they can't, their claims begin to look like serious bullshit.

I don't like loli I think it's repugnant, but most anime has high school kids in it because the most exciting time in Japan is high school so most of the time your characters are of high school age. So with manga you have smut or Josei and some of the characters are in high school granted they look fully developed. Say they were to pass it would it just be appearance based or based on the characters actual age? The characters in Jo Joe's bizarre adventure are teens, but look like adults.

I don't think the UN is looking to ban fan service of high school aged anime girls (e.g. panty shots).
