This is not a "California" problem, but a problem with American social services as a whole. The system is understaffed and underfunded in EVERY state. Family unification is the goal and the desired status quo EVERYWHERE. This could be taking place in Georgia or Ohio or New Mexico or, yes, even Washington and social services would be just as limited in what they could do.

Social workers are overworked and underpaid. I feel a lot of sympathy for them. Usually, these people get into the work for the right reasons (wanting to help kids) and the system prevents them from doing anything meaningful and they get caught up in the red tape. There is SO much legal bullshit social services has go through to do even the most minor of interventions.

There's so much HURR DURR, CALIFORNIA IS DUMB nonsense that derails this thread and demonstrates few people actually know how systems like social services actually run. Easier to blame the boogeyman I guess?

I've posted that video in the past. You know, you can very clearly see Michael trying to engage Jani to foster a bond with her new little brother. I've never bought the idea that Jani wanted to kill Bodhi. Even with damaged kids like Jani, it's VERY easy to manipulate children into caring about their sibling. While many of us were probably less than thrilled when a younger sibling showed up on the scene to steal all the attention, parents are often very good at pushing siblings together through careful wordplay, activities, and fostering a sense of responsibility in the older sibling.
I'm willing to bet Susan goaded Jani on as much as possible whenever Jani expressed negativity towards her brother. Her reactions to Jani wanting Bodhi gone made Jani associate attention with hitting Bodhi. Susan could never be fucked to try any psychological tactics to get Jani to care about Bodhi. That shit came on its own years later when Jani was mature enough to recognize that Bodhi was just another victim caught in the spider's web.

I'm wondering exactly when Susan re-launches her YouTube channel. My bets are on either right after she misses the flight she was supposed to take; or right after the show. She won't be able to resist the bump in views and attention she'll get from it, the kind of attention won't matter.

I really can’t blame Dr Phil’s crew telling her to fuck off. She made it obvious any efforts the show made was a giant waste of time.

The kids Removal from Susan’s custody is really the only thing that will make a difference.

I was at the pharmacy today and was wondering about Jani’s Clozapine prescription and if Susan might try giving Bodhi any of Jani’s Clozapine.

I know Clozapine is very tightly controlled and Susan shouldn’t have any extras from Jani’s prescription (though she might) and that if a person taking that drug misses a dose, they are supposed to re-start at the very lowest dose and titrate upward again instead of restarting at their old dose.

I asked the pharmacist what happens, medically speaking, if a person on Clozapine misses a day and he said “As far as I know, nothing.” I’m not sure that’s true though; there must be SOME reason why missing a day requires you to start all over again.

I’m reasonably sure Susan hasn’t given Bodhi any of Jani’s Clozapine though, cause if he had it at the high dose after being off it this long it would probably kill him.

Like many of you I’m afraid he will die before anyone does anything.

Slight powerlevel, its 2 doses that have to be missed to start over, and you do it because if it is started again on a higher dose after missing 2 doses it can cause heart attacks and other gnarly shit.

I take 50mg less than im supposed to so that i have a "stockpile" of Clozapine in case for whatever reason the results of my blood draw dont make it into the system on time for my regular script.

Sometimes even when you know something bad is going to happen ahead of time, it doesn't make it any easier. I'm very disappointed to learn Bodhi won't be going to Texas even though I knew he wouldn't.

Let me just say though that this is going to be a very difficult problem to solve even for people who have the power and (hopefully) the drive like DCFS. The thing with abusing kids through the mental health system as opposed to faking an physical illness, is that a) there is no test to determine a mental illness, it's largely subjective and b) unlike cancer or something, it is extremely possible and not even that difficult to induce a very real mental illness on a child. And then the abuser has a real mentally ill child who can be easily blamed on anything and everything and who tbh, no one will believe right away when they tell crazy sounding stories about mom or dad. Susan has some sort of weird and unusual desire to constantly be in the public eye and an obsession with drugs, but people abuse their kids with mental health all the damned time and quite easily get away with it. A mentally ill child is an abusers wet dream.

100%. I was pretty concerned to see some of the newer folks here posting on facebook and saying that they're also posting in this thread - same goes with Youtube and Twitter. Kiwi Farms is not a website that has a positive reputation and it won't be impossible to connect people's real accounts with their KF profiles. People have lost their jobs over this website and it's important that powerleveling/revealing personal details is kept to a minimum.
