Whether she actually means this shit or not, this is honestly the best thing for her to do.

If she means it, then great, I hope she learned her lesson.

But if she didn't mean jack shit, then good because she would've been fucked and I don't have to read her tweets making threats in her voice when she goes shrill.

Can't wait to see what unfolds.

All I know is it made me look into them so hopefully others will show them support since they are still brave enough to work with Vic, makes me wonder if Warner Bros will stand by him considering has in the Jojo part 4 dub.

it's Viz who produces the Jojo dubs. And we have yet to see a statement from the other companies he regularly works with(Viz,Aniplex,Crunchyroll,Netflix,Bang Zoom,Studiopolis...).If they decide to remain silent,we will have to wait and see if he gets quietly recast, like Rohan in Jojo or Ranpo in season 3 of Bungo Stray Dogs.

About 4 grand in 2 hours, and it's trending. Not bad.

incidentally we can't find much on her early life before CA...

It's hard to find anything relevant AFTER CA. This is the most attention she's gotten in a long time. She's a nobody.

Oh shit, it's happening

EDIT: You guys think any of these weirdos are stupid enough to false flag a team of lawyers? Because I really hope they are.

I hope they are. Because this rabbit hole of stupidity wouldn't be complete until someone tried to sue or SWAT a lawyer team for helping Vic.

It's hard to find anything relevant AFTER CA. This is the most attention she's gotten in a long time. She's a nobody.
So when is she going to jump in and try defending herself in the thread? Or is she simply too scared to do so?

Considering how it's highly likely Vic has recorded all of his lines for Jojo in advance, they probably wouldn't recast him because they would've done so earlier. It doesn't help that many people would notice it considering Rohan has a major focus for a few episodes in a row which could hurt sales.

we know Vic was still recording for Jojo in early January, but we don't know if he finished it by the time the KickVic thing blew midway in that month. He also said he's taking a break from all of this and seeking counseling but didn't say if that includes taking a break from his ongoing roles with the companies that are still willing to work with him.

What would Vic get from suing Funimation? He was a freelancer and they're based in Texas, a state known for loose labor laws.

I would assume vic had a contract with Funimation. Under normal circumstances, Funimation being the big corporation would have a pretty loosely worded portion that would allow them to fire Vic "for cause". The issue they may run into is that even Texas follows common law, and under common law there is the doctrine of "fruit of the poisoned tree". Basically, any evidence presented that results in legal consequences that arises from an illegal action is poisoned. Anything that results of that poison is tainted with the illegality of the action.

The most obvious thing we have atm is Tortious Interference. Same thing that Meyer is suing Wade over. A contract was clearly broken as a result of the actions of some people on twitter. Vic can absolutely sue those people for Tortious Interference and in Texas, not even the truth is a defense if those people had no compelling interest in the business transaction. Which they didn't. That is where Texas' pro-business laws have a huge benefit for vic. This does not effect Funimation though as they still get to be the ones to decide whether or not to honor the contract.

The way Vic can reach Funimation is on the defamation side. If the claims on twitter are not provably true, but funimation chose to break the contract anyway, then they just became parties to the defamation by causing actual damage via the illegal action. Defamation. So even if Funimation has a rock solid "get out of lawsuit free" card in their contract, the fact that they exercised it as a direct result of an illegal action means the contract was broken improperly and Vic can sue for the full value of compensation the contract offered him, plus compensatory damage if there was provable malice in what Funimation did.

Proving that would be very hard though.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say she felt the Farms suited her interests when her target was CA. We consider most of the CA people cows, and have documented them pretty extensively.

Most people are either somewhat pro-Vic (at least as far as this particular situation), or don't buy into the whole "listen and believe" shit. While Vic is probably a cow unto himself, that's not where the bulk of the tard cum has been coming from.

TL;DR: We've been mostly laughing at the "wrong" cows. To include her.

She's demonstrated on her Twitter, thus far, that she can't handle tough questions.

I'm not an expert. Nick is. I defer to him.

I just want him to destroy ANN (which is a much easier case), and maybe fuck with MarzGurl and some of the Funimation VAs a little. I think that would be funny. There's probably no money in it, but I'd anoint him "Saint Vic" if he could do it. Peter Thiel said that destroying Gawker was the single most philanthropic thing he ever did, and I believe him.

Its like watching in real time a twitter sperg come to the terrifying realization that the internet is actually serious business.

"it would be embarrassing for a lawyer of 3 years to never have argued a case."

No, it's not. The vast majority of lawyers aren't trial lawyers. This is also because only about 2% of civil litigation actually goes to trial. This idiot's knowledge of lawyers probably begins and ends with Phoenix Wright.

It's my understanding Nick is at least partially a trial lawyer though. Even if it's just Mickey Mouse shit like DUI defense.

I also doubt traffic court goes into the official record either. The average time for a trial in traffic court, even for serious offenses like DUI or Intent to Kill (Speeds in excess of 100 MPH) is a couple of minutes. The lawyers literally talk like Auctioneer announcers to the judge and the sentences are swift and always against the defendant. None of it is worthy of actually making a note of beyond a record of the pleadings and rulings. The thing exists to pay for the entire legal industry. For the lawyers, and for the judges and its probably the only place a lawyer will actually make oral arguments since civil lawsuits almost never go to trial. People who fucked up know they have and do what they can to make the lawsuit go away. And even if they don't the judge will usually just issue summary judgement to save everyone the time. Actually going to trial means summoning random citizens to sit on jury duty. Nobody wants to do jury duty, and if every idiot lawsuit resulted in empaneled juries and a trial every one of us would be spending time listening to idiots argue over who owes who money.

It's even funnier since PW's law is more based on Japanese law lulz.
