Tom cannot stand people talking about him. To have an actual face and voice calling him a "pedophile" and a "dogfucker" stings a lot more. Michele, @jenffer a jay and @Dee Price both have nuked his nads really hard and he has called the cops on both, only to be told to fuck off. His mental illness prevents him from hearing that because it would mean all his efforts in having the cops be his PA would have been for naught. Which is also why he acknowledges that the Hoffman Gang is fake while saying "I can't tell what is real or not, so I need you to investigate it". But what he just refuses to get, and what is incredibly important for his asshurt is that if he isn't even sure its real or not, then the cops just won't care.
